Betrayal

~The next day~

Todoroki's POV

After that night, we both decided to go back to school the next day, revealing our relationship. I knew it was about to give me some glares, but as long as I had Katsuki by my side, I'll just have to lift my head up high and deal with it.

Once we stepped through the big gates, I could feel all eyes on us. I could even hear some people whispering, which wasn't making it better. I saw my other old friends and gave them a little wave, but they looked at me disgusted and walked off. Meanwhile, Katsuki looking like he ain't giving a f*ck about all this, and kept glaring at people, shutting them off.

If only I was that confident...

*Bell rings*

Katsuki busted the door open, holding my hand firmly as he stood infront of the entire class. Everyone stopped talking, and looked up to him, confused on what he's about to pull.

"Alright, listen, dumba*ses. I, Katsuki Bakugo, am officially taken, so I don't wanna hear all that whispering nonsense. Ya hear me?" He held my arm high, clearly making his statement seen, and walked to his desk. I shyly followed after him, taking a seat next to him. Even after all that, I could hear whispering from behind and in front of me. I never knew expressing myself would be this hard.

~After school~

After that long day, I went into my locker to get my stuff to go back to my bf's house, when I heard someone's footsteps. It seemed like they were getting closer and closer, and then it suddenly stopped. I didn't seem to care who it was, so I just continued to do pack, and then slowly walk out.

"Having a new boyfriend now, I see?"

I froze in my tracks. I recognized that voice. I turned around to confirm, and indeed, it was Deku, my ex-friend. What could he possibly want from me now? I turned to face him and crossed my arms, waiting for him to continue.

"It seems that you've forgotten me, and moved on to get a boyfriend, awww~~" He made a mocking face before suddenly dropping it, staring at me with cold eyes. I've never seen him look at me like that before. He leaned in, and whispered something in my ear.

"Be at your house after school today, or you'll see what'll happen to you next." He said threateningly before walking off. I was so confused by what he meant, but shrugged it off and walked out to meet my bf by the gates. 

"And what the hell took you so long?" He glared at me impatiently.

"Sorry, I was just talking to Deku, he approached me out of nowhere."

"You're still talking to that nerdy b*tch? I swear, if he talks to you again, I'll smack the sh*t out of him."

"Katsuki, calm down, he didn't say or do anything to hurt me. I'm fine." I flashed him a small smile, and he calmed down a bit.

"Alrighty, fine. Now let's get going, I got sh*t to study for tomorrow." He mumbled as he started to walk ahead. 

How am I suppose to handle this small fireball of his? I sighed as I started walking to catch up his pace.

3 minutes later

For some reason, I couldn't get my mind off of what he said. "Be at your house after school today, or you'll see what'll happen to you next." What did he mean by that? Was it really that important? I could feel Katsuki glaring at me confusingly from behind. 

"Alright, something must be off about you. You good?" He looked at me worriedly as I continued to walk ahead of him. We stayed in silence for a while until I felt a nudge on my shoulder. I looked up, and saw it was my bf, who just kept nudging me with a grin on his face. His smile was so contagious, so I couldn't help but smile back at him. I've always loved the way he would try to cheer me up whenever I felt down, and it never fails. 

This was the kind of person I'd risk to spend my entire life with.

~After the walk~

After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived at my new home, but it didn't feel like it. I was so use to the noise and pain I'd endure when I get home that it feels weird to enter a house where there is no noise, no pain, just silence and peace. It's all I ever wanted.

I went into my bf's room, started to take out my textbooks from my backpack, and started to look over my notes. I haven't been studying lately and I've been falling behind so I wanted to catch up. My bf followed behind me, doing the same thing and sitting next to me. I was really into it for half an hour, but I kept zoning in and out with my thoughts. I really tried to make it unnoticeable, but it was like Katsuki could read my mind or something, cause he tapped my shoulder.

"Shoto, you tired?" I could only nod. "You wanna take a break?" I nodded again. We both stood up and went to the living room, taking a seat on the sofa, and turning on the TV for me to watch. I was just sitting there, invested in a tv show, when I heard him call out my name. I stood up, and looked at the kitchen, and saw my favorite ramen just sitting in a bowl. I dashed into the kitchen, and immediately started eating it with a smile on my face. I heard my bf chuckling from a distance, and then coming over to sit with me at the kitchen table.

"I'm glad to see you smiling again, considering that you've been acting a little off lately." He said softly as I slowly continued to eat my ramen, still listening to him. "You know, if anything's bothering you, you can tell me. I won't judge." I sat up to put my bowl in the sink, and then looked back at him.

"Nothing's really going on, it's just my mind keeps going back to what someone said to me earlier on today."

"Why, who was that person?"

"Deku. He told me 'Be at your house after school today, or you'll see what'll happen to you next.' or something like that." I sighed and scratched my head as I saw him thinking real hard on what I just said.

"I knew it had something to do with that little b!tchy old friend of yours, but since he isn't my friend, there's nothing I can do. The only thing I can say is you can actually go there and find out yourself." He sighed after he said that.

"I don't have to. He's probably only bringing me there to beg for me to be his friend again. Nothing to worry about." I smiled and went upstairs to my bedroom, plopped on the bed, and looked up at the ceiling.

It was, like 9:00pm at that time, and I was really tired over what had just happened over the last few days, and haven't slept peacefully for a while, so I immediately fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
