~The next day~

Bakugo's POV

As soon as I heard the birds chirping, I woke up, and sat up from the bed, clenching my fist. Today's the day Deku pays for what he deserves! "I can't just let him get away with hurting my other half." I mumbled as I turned to look at him sleeping. His resting face looked so peaceful, and cute. I couldn't help but peck his lips as I walked out of the bed to get dressed, and then walk out of the bedroom and put on my jacket. I had to leave early because school starts in a few hours, and I don't wanna miss it.

After what felt like forever, I finally reached my destination: my old bf's home, a.k.a, the devil's place.

I looked around, and saw nothing but rubble spread all over. I started to walk into the site, and lifting the pieces to find any clues, but nothing popped up. However, I refused to let that stop me, and I continued to look all over the place for an hour before finally giving up.

"Whoever did this must be good at hiding his traces..." I mumbled before turning to walk away.

~Time skip~

Todoroki's POV

I woke up because the birds were chirping too loud and the sunlight was on my face. It was WAY too early for all that. I yawned and scratched my head, and reached out my hand to wake Bakugo up, only to feel nothing but air. I turned around and saw him not there. Immediately, I got up and looked in the bathroom: nothing. Then I went downstairs and looked in the kitchen, and living room: nothing. Did he go out...without telling me? I wondered as I went and sat at the front porch, waiting for him. After a while, I saw him walking to this direction from a distance. I burrowed my eyes and crossed my arms, watching his every step as he gets closer to his house.

He's got a lot of explaining to do...

Bakugo's POV

I could finally see my house from a distance, but as I looked closer, I saw a figure at the front porch. I squinted my eyes and realized that it was my bf sitting at the porch, waiting for me. He must've been worried  I wondered as I sighed and walked up to the front porch. I reached out my hand to open the door, but he stood up and blocked me from entering in.

"Where were you?" He stood there while staring at my eyes, crossing his arms and tapping his foot.

"I was..just talking a walk."

"At this time?"

I sighed.

"If you're not going to tell the truth, just say that." He looked down and turned to open the door but I held his wrist, preventing him from moving any forward.

"Alright alright, I'll tell the truth. I woke up really early in the morning to check out your home, which is now just rubble, to find any clues as to who did it, but found nothing." I looked away from his gaze. He sighed and shook his head.

"You know, you could've left a note or something. Got me real worried right there." He chuckled as he pulled me into a hug. "You know, I appreciated what you did for me, but I can handle it from here." I looked up to meet his eyes, confused by what he meant.

"What you mean? It's not like you got proof or-"

"Think again." He pulled out his phone from his pocket, and showed me a recording of the conversation. I listened to it, and by the first second, I immediately knew who that was.

"Oh, he's going to get it for real-" Todoroki pulled me back and shook his head at me. "Oh, right." I looked away from his gaze as he went inside of the house to get ready for school.
