chapter 16: Kai.

I could see her anxiety written all over her face.
"It's nothing to worry about you have lived with her before Autumn".i smiled slightly amused by the situation."she maybe a little rough around the edges but I don't think I need to tell you that", I said getting up, I was satisfied. I had distracted her even though it was for a moment.
Victoria was quite energetic to say the least, she was my elder sister but always got me into trouble. She was tall for a girl though I was taller. Victoria was the exact definition of a bully girlfriend, she has had plenty boyfriends but even though they sealed the deal she doesn't see them as a boyfriend more like a dog. She is commanding but playful and exactly what Autumn needs.
Autumn and Victoria were never exactly friends but they got along with each other well enough. Autumn was more quiet while Victoria was outgoing and extroverted.
Victoria had long brunette hair always in a different color every time I saw her.she had slim straight legs and arms, a bright smile always pasted on her face, hazel eyes a tad bit darker than mine and a beauty mark above her left eye brow.
Victoria lived with my other sisters Bridget and Luna, they were both younger than me. Autumn took a particular liking to Luna, they were age mates and had similar interest.
"Oh and we would be seeing Luna and Bridget too"I said. Her eyes lit up and she ran to get dressed.
Luna had short hair and chubby cheeks, she had a slender body like Bridget who was 14.
I love my sisters, they are very annoying but I could never prioritize anything over them. they where all I had left after my parents travelled to God knows where.

We walked into the sitting room inm my sisters place and I swarmed by my overly touchy sisters.
"Autumn?"Victoria said confused. She looked at me as I returned the confused look, I told all of them about Autumn."oh yeah that's right, hi baby girl"she said giving Autumn a big bear hug.
"I just made food let's go eat"she said still hugging Autumn under her arm, she was a few inches taller than Autumn.
"Ok"Bridget said taking me on the long journey to the dining. They moved to a much bigger house than my parents. The other half of the city my parents did not own was owned by Victoria.
I left Autumn in the care of my younger sisters so I could catch up with Victoria.
"So, how are you doing?"I asked before getting to the main details.
"I am fine thank you, what do you want."she said smiling at me and clearing the table.
I chuckled "I have a favor to ask, Autumn's mom is back"I said doing air bunnies around the word mom. "If that woman is actually her mother then-" Victoria cut me off" has she seen you?" She asked taking my head up to look her in the eyes. She was the only person who had enough authority over me to do that.
I nodded."but I don't think she was paying attention.
" How much do you love Autumn?" She asked
"What?"
Silence
"I love her very much" I stated
"And Jake?" She asked taking both her eyebrows up.
"Yeah" I said signifying that I do.
"Then keep and eye on them, protect yourself and keep us safe" she said going behind my chair to give me a hug.
"And I know you did not come here for advice" she said still hugging me. "You came to know what Skye's deal was coming back"she said ,her voice sounding muffled on my cheek.
"I will get you that information on one condition" and on as if on cue Autumn walked out."you come visit more often" Victoria said hardly containing her laughter.
Bridget gave Autumn.
"If I get to see this every time of course" I said joining in on the laughter.
