Chapter 21

                                                                              (Pete's POV) 

 Joe and Andy got into Chicago last night. We have some recording to do today. Patrick has a makeshift studio set up in our house. That's what we're using for now until its full set up. 

  Patrick went first to test to make sure its working. I watch as he does. "My fiance is hot." he says. 

  "Really? We do have guests." I remind him. "thank you babe." 

  "That you do." Joe says. Andy is currently recording. 

  "You sure that you're okay with sharing a room?" I ask Joe. 

  "Yeah. We don't mind." Joe says. 

  "i'm glad you guys could come early." Patrick says. 

  "It's no problem. Its nice to be back in the Windy City." Joe says. 

  "We are glad that you're here." I state. 

  "It's your turn Joe." Andy says as he joins us. 

  "Alright." Joe goes in next. 

  "How are you doing?" Patrick asks Andy. 

  "i'm doing great. Meredith and I are doing well." Andy answers. "She'll be my plus one." 

  "The happiest I've seen you is with Meredith." I say. 

  Patrick grins. "Exactly. You do look happy. Meredith is definitely a keeper." 

  "Couldn't agree with you more. Its still new so we're going at our own pace?" Andy says. 

  "As you should." I state. 

  Joe finishes his recording. "Do you have any wedding stuff you need to do today?" He asks. 

  Patrick shakes his head. "no actually. We took today for recording and a break." 

  "Why? I have a feeling you're up to something." I look at Joe. 

 "I might be." Joe says. 

  "Do we need to get ready to go?" Patrick asks. 

  "Actually yes you do." Andy says as he looks at the clock. 

  We go to our room to get ready for whatever our best friends have planned. It's too soon for a bachelor's party. "I'm ready for our future." I kiss Patrick. 

  "Same." he kisses me back. 

  "So what is going on?" I ask Joe. 

  We follow Joe and Andy to wherever we're going. They're up to something and I have no clue what it is. 

  We follow them to Wrigley Field. "What are we doing here?" I ask. 

  "We got tickets for the game tonight." Andy answers. 

  "That was sneaky of you. So why are we here hours early?" Patrick asks. 

 "I figured we should hangout here." Joe says. 

  We walk around the stadium. We've played here once and it was a dream come true. I hope we get to play here again some day. 

  "It'll happen again. I know it will." Andy states. 

  "You brought us here for inspiration." Patrick says as he squeezes my hand. 

  "Sort of yeah." Joe states. 

  "Its working." I say. 

  "This is absolutely amazing. Thank you for this." Patrick says. 

  "Of course. I'm really excited to play here again." Joe says. 

  We spend the night at Wrigley. We watch the Cubs game before going home. It was a good night. 

  We go home afterwards Joe and Andy go to their room and we go to ours. "That was great night." Patrick says. 

  "It was an amazing night. I'm lucky to have best friends like them in my life." I state. 

  "Same. Joe and Andy are really special to us. They're family." He agrees. 

  "Speaking of.." I look at him. 

  "What?" He asks me. 

  "Have you thought about us having kids together eventually?" I ask. 

   He plays with my hand. "I have thought about it." 

  "I do want a family with you." I say to him. 

  He kisses me. "I would love that." 

  I kiss him back. "You mean that?" 

  "Of course I do." He says. 

  "We will eventually in our own time." I state. 

  "For now, lets focus on right now." He says. 

  "I think we should." I say as I kiss him deeply. 

  He kisses me back. "I love you." We make out before cuddling.
