            ~2023~

Patrick and I have been married for ten years now. Its mind-blowing that we've been married for that long now. Our lives haven't changed that much in the past ten years. Patrick officially adopted Bronx. We're officially a family. The band has released seven albums total with our eighth coming out in two weeks. We have been a band for twenty-two years now. I can't believe everything we've accomplished. It's been an amazing journey so far.

"We have to get ready." He pulls me out of my thoughts.

"For our anniversary dinner." I say as I get up.

"Yes our ten year anniversary." He says as he kisses me.

  "Ten perfect years." I state.

"I'm going to shower. You're welcome to join me." He says.

"I might." I state. I have to get a shower in too.

I join him in the shower. "You're hot and sexy." I help him wash off.

"So are you." He helps me wash off. "You know what I love?" He whispers in my ear.

  "No what?" I ask him.

  "Shower sex." He answers.

"I do too but we need to finish getting ready." I say as I kiss him.

He kisses me back. "Yes we do to be honest."

We finish the shower. We continue to get ready. I have a special night planned for us. Patrick doesn't know where we're going. I want everything about tonight to be a surprise.

"You aren't going to tell me are you?" He asks me.

"No I'm not." I say as I drive. I know he'll love it. I know my husband better than he knows himself sometimes. I love him so much.

"You're lucky that I trust you." He says as I drive us.

"I know I am." I focus on the road ahead of me.

We arrive after a few minutes. He looks at me. "You've outdone yourself haven't you?"

"Maybe I have. Let's go inside and find out." I open his door for him.

"Such a gentleman." He says as he gets out of the car.

"I am." I wink at him as we go inside.

"You are amazing. I know chivalry isn't done." he teases.

We get lead to a table in the back. I had them set up a private room for us. The room is full of flowers and fake candles. Champagne is already on ice next to the table.

"Peter Stump-Wentz, this is romantic. Yes you have outdone yourself." He says.

"I'm glad you think so. We've been married for a decade now." I say.

"We've been married a full decade now. I still can't believe that." He leans to kiss me.

I kiss him back. "I love you."

"I love you too." he says.

I wouldn't have made it through the past twenty two years without him. We have saved each others lives multiple times. We are each others other half. We have been since the day we met. We've always made it. No matter what. We made it to here.

We made it to ten years as husbands. I'm really excited for our future. I know there's a lot more ahead of us. Its only the beginning.

"This has been a perfect night for us. Thank you." He kisses me.

"You're welcome. Shall we go for a walk?" I ask, offering my hand.

"A walk sounds great actually. It's a nice night out." He squeezes my hand.

We walk around the city tonight. It is a gorgeous night out. I love the Windy City. It means a lot be back here. Chicago has always had my heart. It was my first love. It helped form the band and lead me to Patrick.

"You okay?" I ask as we stop somewhere.

"Yes. I'm with my husband in my favorite city, yes I'm okay." He says.

  "I love you." I say.

"I love you too. Let's go home and celebrate more." He says.

We go home to continue our celebration. I'm married to the most beautiful person I've ever met. Inside and out.

"That was incredible." He kisses me on the cheek.

"Yes it was. Happy anniversary." I kiss him deeply.

He kisses back. "Happy anniversary." He says.
