Haunted Glossary

I do not own any of the Story. I just read it in some of the books. And I just want to share it with you.

Let me share you first some Haunted Glossary

1. Ghost Raping

Rapping is one of the earliest means of spirit communication. Process include thumping, knocking, tapping, or bumping.

In ancient times, rapping was believed to be an omen of death approaching.

2. Corpse Candles

Corpse candles are mysterious lights often seen in churchyards or graveyards. They are sometimes also called Dead men's candles, Jack O' Lanterns and Fetch lights.

The candles are supposed to presage death. The size of the candle will indicate the age of the victim. The candle lights maybe red, blue, or white. They can appear on the ground or up in the air.

3. Ghostly Vehicles

Ghostly vehicles would show up and disappear suddenly. The vehicle is usually traveling at high speed.

The drivers of other vehicles are usually forced to serve to miss a collision. These drivers then tend to hit another object resulting in injury or even death.

Some of these ghost vehicles tend to appear at places where murders of accidents have happened.

4. Ghoul

The ghoul is an evil spirit that would crave and feed upon the corpses of humans. Some occultists believe that the Ghoul superstition comes from wild animals that disturb graves at night. Others believe that the origin is the fear of death in lonely deserts.

5. Rescue Circles

Rescue Circles are convened to advise the spirits that they are dead already. The circles also offer prayers for them. The purpose of the circles is to help the dead release their ties from the living. Rescue also help those who usually experienced suddenly death and have trouble of letting go.
