One smotheringly hot summer day, my mother was ironing in upstairs bedroom when the room suddenly turned ice cold. Suddenly she felt someone reaching up to her, and then hugged her. She ran from the room, frightened, but she recalled it was a reassuring kind of hug.
Also, one night Dad had felt someone at the foot of the bed slowly tugging the blankets off them.
It happened several times and he shouted out "Stop it!!!"
It never happened again.
