I couldn't figure out what to do.
He said not to enter his room.
I couldn't find Mr. Ariana anywhere. I asked Emma and Elsa, but they weren't aware of her whereabouts.
While passing through the hallway, searching every room, I heard voices from the library.
Curious, I opened the door.
Wow.
I stood there in awe. It was a vast library with numerous shelves extending to the end of the room, placed next to each other. Many chandeliers hung from the ceiling.
As I walked inside, I saw Ken and Mr. Ariana on my left. Ken was retrieving books for Ariana as she pointed them out. Ariana's gentle expression caught me off guard. She looked at Mr. Ken with a tenderness
Sensing my presence, Miss Ariana's expression turned gloomy. Annoyed, she walked past me, leaving me standing there.
"Is there anything y-" Ken began, but he stopped when he saw the red mark on my neck.
"Did something happen last night?" he asked, concerned.
I thought of telling him everything. Besides Jade, he seemed the only one who was concerned for me. Trusting him, I recounted what happened last night.
"I'm sorry. I should have warned you," Ken said apologetically.
"It's not your fault," I replied.
"I'll talk to Miss Ariana to see if she'll change her mind and give you another role to fulfill," Ken said.
I didn't try to stop him. That's exactly what I wanted, and I felt he was the one who could help me.
"For today, you can rest. Don't worry," Ken said.
I nodded.
Ken left me alone in the library.
Curious, I started exploring the shelves. Jade would love this place, as she always enjoyed libraries. I'll tell her about it.
As I wandered around, I saw a shadow moving between the shelves.
I took a cautious step closer and gulped, feeling my throat dry.
The air grew colder, and an eerie silence enveloped the library.
As I approached the spot, the candles started flickering, losing their shine.
My skin prickled with fear.
I began shivering.
Suddenly, the shadow darted past me, sending a chill down my spine.
I spun around, but there was nothing-just an empty library.
I fled the library, my heart racing, and didn't stop until I reached the safety of my room.
..........................
I lay down on my bed, replaying everything that had happened over the past few days.
Suddenly, a gust of wind caused my window to fly open. I got off my bed to close it, but as I walked over and looked out, I saw the weather was calm. The moonlight shone brightly, making me wonder what had caused that gust of wind.
As I turned around, I saw a black shadow standing in front of me. I quickly grabbed a vase to protect myself.
The shadow moved towards me, becoming clearer. It was a man wearing a black cloak that covered his face. He walked towards me, closing the distance between us.
Before he could get any closer, I shouted,
"Who are you? What do you want from me?"
He didn't stop moving. I held the vase in front of me.
"Stop right there!"
He lifted his arm, pointing towards the vase. I saw a black shade moving from his arm towards me, enveloping the vase and making it vanish.
Magic.
No.
It was Dark magic.
A wizard.
