He glanced over to Chawarin, who was scrolling on his phone, and smiled when he saw a cascade of images on the screen - all of which were street food.

"What do you want to buy?" Zee asked, merging onto the next lane.

Chawarin turned his head, glancing outside, "I'm not going to eat."

"I asked what you wanted to buy."

Chawarin's brows curled and he narrowed his eyes, as if he didn't understand what Zee was getting at. Zee raised his hand to his lips and smirked. He hid his smile, albeit unsuccessfully, and glanced from Chawarin to the road and back to Chawarin. His smile turned from mischievous to sweet.

"We'll buy everything you want."

"I won't eat it."

"I'll buy everything you want."

Chawarin slid his eyes to the side, at Zee. In that moment, their eyes met. He quickly turned his head. Zee smiled, but he kept his head forward. Chawarin gave a light grunt. And then he cleared his throat.

"Then I want-" Chawarin rested his elbow on the window and spoke with his head turned away, "I want everything."

"Everything?" Zee said with a chuckle.

"Everything."

It went quiet. Zee swallowed and then nodded, "Hup, okay! Everything!"

He spun the steering wheel and pulled into a parking spot. He unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned his arms on the wheel. He turned to Chawarin and smiled.

"Ready?"

Chawarin's eyes twitched when he saw Zee's wide grin. He nodded and they both exited the car.

Chawarin's eyes widened in awe as his head spun from side to side. Zee smiled, knowing from his slack lips that it was his first time in a street food market. He watched as Chawarin walked around like a lost child, weary but curious. He slid beside Chawarin, bumping elbows with him.

"You know, it's a different feeling during the evening."

Chawarin's eyes widened, like he was saying "Really?"

Zee nodded and they continued walking. The market was warm and rowdy. There were tens of voices firing off at the same time. The sound of sputtering oil was overpowering and distracted Chawarin every time he heard it. And the sights of all the people and food and smiles, it was evident this was all new to Chawarin. He peered over his nose as he walked by every stall. His eyes were wide and focused. Are you having a staring competition with the food? Zee laughed to himself.
