Behind his dimpled smile and sugary eyes lies a past of hardships. Zee lives aimlessly, hopping from job to job, unable to keep stable employment. But when he is invited to take a position at the prestigious Haven Hotel, Zee's life changes from a le...

The heat on his skin was sweltering but Zee ignored the sweat along his back as he watched Chawarin inhale sharply, his eyes glimmering in anticipation at the ticket booth. Zee smiled as Chawarin held the remaining wrist tickets in his hand. He reached out a hand to Chawarin who snatched away the tickets, his eyes weary.
Zee chuckled and wiggled his fingers, “I need my ticket to go in. Unless you want to be their third-wheel,” he glanced over to Max and Nat.
Chawarin furrowed his brows for a second and quickly handed Zee one of the two tickets. Then he held the ticket to his chest as the four walked up to the entrance. Zee held the wrist ticket up with his two fingers and smiled a lazy smile with heavy eyes.
“Put it on me, please,” his lashes hung low over his eyes, “Please?”
Chawarin looked over at him and raised a brow. He handed his ticket to Zee and lifted his chin up at the taller man, “You do mine first.”
Zee smirked and rolled the adhesive ticket around his wrist. He smirked as he looked down to Chawarin whose eyes were on him. When the wrist ticket was firmly stuck, Zee’s fingers glided lightly up Chawarin’s wrist, quickly letting go as a child ran into his leg.
“Oh my god,” the child’s mother apologized and Zee waved her off, telling her it was alright.
Zee then put out his wrist with pouted lips, “Hmm.”
Chawarin clicked his tongue and wrapped the ticket around his wrist before pushing Zee’s hand down. He glanced over to the other two men and then back at Zee, “Let’s go.”
Zee chuckled, “Excited, are you?”
The vampire’s lids flinched before Zee's eyes closed in crescents with a laugh. He brought a hand up to Chawarin’s head and ruffled his hair. Then he pushed him forward, ahead of him, as he turned around and called out for Max. As the group congregated past the entrance, Zee ran up to Max and hooked his arm around his friend’s shoulders. His grin was hearty and wide, and so was Max’s.
“It’s been a while since we’ve come to a place like this,” Zee said.
“It has,” Max replied, “You don’t like coming to places like this—”
Zee’s eyes opened wide. Then he glanced to Chawarin. Another beat passed and then he looked back at Max, “It’s not that I don’t like places like this,” then he returned to look at Chawarin, his eyes glazing over—
Flashes of darkness filled his mind. A bright smile. A hand around his cheek. The kiss at the peak of a ferris wheel. But they quickly returned from heaven, back to Earth. Their feet touched the ground. And the hand that was so warm now abandoned him. The smile that was his… now looking at someone else… belonging to someone else. “Can you be mine?” The voice that was so honey-like, it now grated against his ears as the lips that kissed him whispered gently to the woman waiting, smiling. “Were you waiting for me?” The voice was disgusting… But… as his hands touched Zee’s, his body felt warm and he pathetically melted into the touch.
