Chawarin kiss the tip of Zee's ear, his lips traveling along his cheekbones, "My baby, are you asking for a hug?"
Zee closed his eyes, thinking that if his eyes were opened, tears would form and fall. He dug his nose into the crook of Chawarin's neck and enjoyed the heat along his cheeks. Soft and gentle caresses ruffled his hair; Zee smiled as he felt Chawarin's hand slowly massage his head and pat his nape. Zee kissed his neck and shoulder as he rose from the embrace. Chawarin looked at him and brushed his cheek. Zee didn't know if he had tears flowing from his eyes, but he held Chawarin's hand to his face and closed his eyes, feeling the heat against his skin.
Chawarin's head slightly cocked as he rubbed his fingers along Zee's cheek, "What's wrong, my baby?"
Zee's hand shook as he held Chawarin's in his. Then he closed his eyes as his lips trembled. He tried to speak, but the words wouldn't come out. They boiled behind his lips and refused to flow freely. Chawarin rubbed his thumb under Zee's eyes and smiled.
"If you don't want to say anything, you don't have to say anything," his lids closed slowly and he smiled, "But if you want to speak and you're afraid of my reaction—" Chawarin kissed Zee's lips in a single swoop, "—You don't have to be afraid. I love you, what is there to be upset at you for?"
Zee held his breath and he closed his eyes, feeling Chawarin's warm hand. I love you too, he thought to himself.
The human sighed and pulled away from Chawarin. Then he brought the tablet to his lap and stared into it blankly, his voice quivering, "She... The psycho... Her cousin... I know her cousin."
Chawarin watched him quietly. Zee sank into himself, but his voice began stabilizing as he felt a hand on his.
"I," Zee swallowed dryly, "We went to college together. We lived in the same house for three years. And for the last two years... She was dating the man who she's now married to."
Chawarin glanced at him. He noticed Zee's shaking hand and patted it. Zee smiled and took in a deep breath.
"The man she married... S– Sain— He... used to be someone I loved."
Chawarin paused. And Zee felt his hesitation. Zee pulled back and sank into himself. However, the vampire held his hand and gripped onto it tightly. Zee glanced back and watched Chawarin nod and looked up, "Hmm," he hummed. He was waiting for Zee to finish the story. But—
"There's nothing else to tell," Zee said. He couldn't tell Chawarin about everything. Not now.
Chawarin nodded and then leaned his chin on Zee's shoulder. Zee looked down at him as Chawarin pouted his lips, "Are you... still in love with him?"
"What?" Zee was appalled. And he shrugged his shoulder, making Chawarin's head slide from him, "What are you saying?"
"Well, you've never—" Chawarin bit his lip and then swallowed dryly before he smiled at Zee, "Then what's the problem? It's natural that you would have had one or two people you've loved in the past."
