Zee's hand crept up to Chawarin's, holding his fingers like he was afraid the latter would float away. He caressed his skin gently and carefully, like it was coated in diamond dust. He brushed the skin and swallowed dryly as he waited and watched Chawarin's Adam's apple bounce.
Gulp. Gulp. Swallow.
The clatter of the empty glass on the table made the surface under his hand vibrate. Zee held his breath and clenched on his molars. Chawarin's lip was still and his nose twitched as his eyes looked forward to nothing in particular.
"A– are you okay?" Zee asked.
Suddenly, Chawarin lept out from his chair. Zee startled back as Chawarin wrapped his arms around his neck. The air felt crisp and warm. Zee's arms hovered around Chawarin's shoulders, refusing to touch the warm skin. His fingers twitched as he heard Chawarin's giggle. He'd heard his laugh before. Of course, he had. They'd been living together for months. But it was the first time he'd heard joy and relief and elation all in the same breath. All in the same laugh. Chawarin's smile had grown and his laugh reverberated and trembled against Zee's chest. He gulped and smiled, realizing the infection of Chawarin's sweet laugh.
Zee wrapped his arms around Chawarin's slim waist and pulled him into his embrace. Holding him tight, Zee stood up and pressed Chawarin into his ribs and spun him around. They spun and turned and giggled together. Chawarin dug his face into Zee's neck and rubbed his nose into the sensitive and ticklish skin. Zee heard his soft inhales and felt the brushes of his breaths. And then they stood in silence, still pressed against each other. Zee nuzzled into Chawarin's collarbone, feeling his pulse against his cheek. Zee held onto his waist but let his body settle down; Chawarin placed his feet atop of Zee's and they melted into each other.
Then Chawarin whipped his face away from Zee's neck. He pulled himself up as he tightened his arms around Zee's nape and tiptoed on top of the latter's feet. Zee smiled as their faces were leveled and then he quickly let go of Chawarin's waist, sliding them over his hips to the underside of his thighs. Then Zee spread Chawarin's legs as he gripped onto each of his thighs and lifted him up. Chawarin's eyes opened wide for just a second before he wrapped his legs around Zee's waist and he rested his elbows over his human's shoulders. He looked down on his human and then draped his head on his shoulder, his whisper tickling Zee's ears.
"Wanna order room service?"
Zee glanced over to him, "You want to try food already?"
He felt the brushing of Chawarin's fringe as he nodded, "Hm, yeah. Ramen. I want to eat ramen."
And so Zee walked over to the phone, with Chawarin still wrapped around his waist, and ordered for some ramen to be sent up. Of course, he asked for instant noodles and said he would be cooking them on his own. Chawarin's arms slithered tighter around his nape and his hands glided down his back. He pressed his face into Zee's neck and his lips touched the back of the human's ticklish ear. Zee walked over to the counter and set Chawarin on the surface once more. But Chawarin refused to let go. His arms still tightened like a vice around Zee's neck and although he unwrapped his legs around Zee's waist, he still pressed his warm inner thighs around Zee's sides. Zee pressed his hips against the counter as Chawarin pulled him in closer and refused to loosen his hold. He let out a sigh-like laugh as he leaned forward and supported himself with either palm on the counter behind Chawarin's hips. The vampire pressed the side of his hot cheek against Zee's neck and giggled again. Zee also laughed, finding his giddy and silly laugh to be contagious.
