Again, a reconvening of the entire situation had to occur for things to finally settle down. All sat back at the table, it was Megumin who now was at Yunyun's left, with Kazuma just past her and Aqua at his opposite side. Darkness took her seat next to YN, but only so she wouldn't be so far down the table.

It was during this time Aqua took upon Darkness's suggestion to make some tea. Passing it out on a serving tray, YN was also served, but to his surprise—

This is just hot water.

Strangely enough though, everyone seemed to be okay with this, —or even a better way to describe it, was they expected it that way, even Yunyun.

Proudly, Aqua had served these cups of hot water with a smile. YN, though, could only look over to Kazuma for a clue of some kind as to why there was no tea, to which he could only sigh. With little else YN could do, he sipped his hot water, if only out of politeness.

"Now, what is *exactly* going on here?"

Megumin now bluntly asked this of Yunyun, demanding to get to the bottom of this.

Reaching into her cleavage of all things, Yunyun pulled out a folded piece of parchment.

"I received this letter from my father only a few hours ago..."

Snatching this from Yunyun, Megumin went about orienting it correctly in her hands to read.

Truthfully though, YN was intrigued too.

From her dad?

To his best recollection, YN couldn't ever recall a time Yunyun had spoken of any family members, let alone her parents.

His thoughts on the matter, though, were cut off as Megumin began to read the letter aloud.

"'By the time you receive this letter, I will surely have perished...' Huh?!"

"What?!"

"Huh?!"

"*Gasp!*"

Garnering a startled reaction from everyone here, it was only Yunyun's that differed. Since she was obviously already privy to the letter's contents, the weight this fact had already was hung on her heart. Casting her gaze downward, there was distinct worry visible in her two eyes.

Instinctively, YN reached out with his own hand to grasp hers. To his secure grasp, she looked to him in a reassured way, knowing his intent was to show she wasn't alone right now.

I feel bad now since she was alone all day with this news more than likely... The mail usually comes pretty early in the afternoon where we live...

All the while, Megumin continued to scan the letter with her own eyes of crimson, going line by line, side to side.

"It... This letter... It goes on to say the Crimson Demon Village is under siege by the Devil King's forces."

Laying the letter down on the table, her finger traced a particular line on the letter.

"'A fortune teller saw a future where the village would be devastated...'"

"That is rather... bleak."

With only Darkness speaking up to this revelation, Megumin answered her by going on.

"It goes on to say though they saw a light of hope as well."

Tracing another line, she read it.

"'That light was the sole survivor of the Crimson Demons, Yunyun.'"
