Settled on solid ground once more, the group of six that had journeyed this far now were on a grand overlook of their destination.

Akin to a cliffside on the gently sweeping road that led down to their destination, everyone regained their bearings briefly after the weightless sensation of teleportation wore off before walking over for what was surely an unmatched view.

And unmatched, it was.

As YN approached the overlook with Yunyun, his eyes went wide and his jaw fell agape at its majesty. Worried he'd still stumble and be unsteady from all he'd just been through, but also wanting to share the moment with him, Yunyun took a hold of his hand as she looked down at what was ultimately a familiar sight for her.

Before them was a large, sweeping valley, its hills on either side steep with trees and bright flowers where there were clearings. Fresh alpine air of the highest quality was crisply breathed in by all as they gawked at this view.

Nestled almost entirely in the very back of this narrow valley was a village, —the Crimson Demon's own village. A few distinctly laid roads were a telltale sign of civilization here. While most of the structures down below were small farm houses of moderate size, roofed with thatch and a chimney on each, every dwelling boasted what appeared to be a well manicured field of agriculture behind it.

All along the perimeter of the village, larger fields could be seen, but also distinctly shaped ponds of water at the very farthest edges, fed by two small streams that circled and ran through the village. Assuming these had to be rice patties, they were evenly divided up as such.

Towards the center of the village, there were a few denser settlements and a handful of larger ones, with one distinct white tower at the very center of moderate height, clearly serving as a landmark or lookout of some kind.

Leading out of the valley for as far as they could see, where it got wider, past the village, were nothing but alpine meadows of colorful flowers and tall grasses. Smaller streams of water trickled down off the side of the forested mountain foothills and joined the two smaller streams to form a larger movement of water, which had to only give birth to a proper river much further down.

As YN stood here and took in the entire view in the early afternoon sun, he couldn't lie to himself.

This place, this view... This was perhaps the most peaceful looking landscape he'd ever seen. Never before at least, had something that appeared more tranquil.

Finally taking his eyes off it, YN turned his gaze away to see what everyone else made of it. Kazuma, Darkness, and even Aqua were all just as taken back as he had been. With Yunyun holding his own hand, and Megumin on Kazuma's back, these two who had grown up here were looking more at everyone's reaction like YN was now. Each had a warm smile on, and with this, it definitely looked as if they took this as a small source of pride.

With these moments of silence gone though, Bukkororii, of the four who had come to their rescue, now spoke up.

"Welcome to the Crimson Demon Village, outsiders."

Said too with a surprisingly humble tone compared to how he normally spoke, he then turned to Yunyun and Megumin.

"—And it's good to have you both back home."

A consecutive nod was had by the three others behind him at that, and turning to face them, the woman with them also spoke up.

"We have other things to all attend to at the moment, so you'll have to count on these two to give you the tour. Until then, see ya later."

Departing off, the six were left to their own devices as the responsibility of 'what comes next' was left with Yunyun and Megumin.

As the latter was still fatigued, this ultimately was down to Yunyun.
