"You're her girlfriend?" Mabilis na tanong ko nang medyo makalayo kami sa mga kasama namin. Nilapitan ko talaga siya para kausapin siya.

"Huwag mong ibahin ang tanong. Are you Jessa's girlfriend?" I asked again. Gustong-gusto ko ng malaman ang totoo.
She stared at me. "No."
My eyes widen at sobrang bilis din ng tibok ng puso ko knowing na hindi niya nga ito girlfriend. Bumalik ulit ang pag-asa ko.
"But I'm her fiancée."
As I heard her, the world seems to stop, leaving me with a hollow ache and a thousand unspoken questions.
"W-hat? Are you sure? Maybe you-"she interrupt.
"Maybe I'm just assuming? Delusional? I am a Valle d'Aosta. " She said like her saying her surname speaks power. "Hindi ugali ng angkan namin ang maging delusional pagdating sa pag-ibig. "Kilala lang kita sa mga naririnig ko. Mas nakilala kita habang kasama ko siya sa mga pahanon na nadurog ang mundo niya." She added.
"And you hate me?"
She shake her head. "I don't even know your story that's why I don't have the rights to hate you. Hindi ko alam ang kwento ninyong dalawa at hindi ko rin alam kung ano man ang pinagdaanan mo. But the only thing I'm sure of, wala akong inagaw sayo."
I couldn't find myself to say anything.
Her words are powerful.
"Although I'm scared." She said habang nakatingin ito sa paligid bago ako ulit tiningnan. "Natatakot ako sayo because you have the power to get her from me. I'm scared but it doesn't matter because she's worth the wait and pain." She gave me a subtle smile after saying those words.
"Jessa's decision matters to me. But if you think I'm giving her back to you, nagkakamali ka. Hindi ko siya susukuan." She said in finality. You can see the determination and confidence on her eyes.
"What if she's just using you to forget me?" I provoke her nang akmang aalis na ito. She stopped and turned her gaze towards me.

Nauna na siyang naglakad ulit at sumunod na ako pero bumuhos ang malakas na ulan kaya tumakbo kaming dalawa sa cave para sumilong. Agad na pinunasan ko ang sarili ko gamit ang panyo na nasa bulsa ko.
"Damn it!" I cursed. Ngayon pa talaga umulan. "What?" I asked the person beside me dahil nakatingin ito saakin.
"You're cursing." She commented at pinunasan din ang sarili gamit ang kamay niya.
