YOUR POV
You were staring again. You didn't mean to, but here you were, staring. You were in the practice room with Stray Kids, lounging around while you waited for your brother Chan to finish his practice so the two of you could go and visit your mother.

You took trips like this to the studio a lot, especially when the holidays came around. The two of you were supposed to leave 30 minutes ago when you came into the studio, but you found yourself waiting in their practice room as they wrapped up learning choreography.

Here you were staring at Seungmin as they danced to their "God's Menu" choreography. You couldn't help it. In the times that you've found yourself visiting JYP, you developed a small crush on Seungmin.

It started off just noticing his little puppy characteristics and how shy he was but also very bold at making smart comments. Then you found yourself thinking about him time and time again. It wasn't a weird thing though because you guys talked at least for the most part when you could, but you've never had the chance to sit and have a one-on-one conversation with him.

Chan knew of your feelings for him, and he was honestly more supportive than you thought he would be. I mean, his little sister having a crush on one of his band members and friends who was a K-pop idol, that was just a mess in its own.

They finish up the song, the staff clapping as they usually do once they are done practicing. Your attention comes back to the mirror in your view where Seungmin was standing. His eyes meet with yours, and you curse at yourself for being a weirdo.

A small smile props up on his face when he notices you staring. You smile back at him through the mirror, a small blush creeping on your face. You avert your gaze after that, glancing down at your phone to distract yourself until they finish.

As the applause dies down and the members begin to disperse, you feel a presence beside you on the couch. The air is filled with the scent of sweat and the faint echo of laughter. Your heart races slightly, still reeling from the brief but intense moment of eye contact with Seungmin. You can't help but replay it in your mind, the way his smile made your heart flutter. The studio's hum fades into the background as Chan plops himself next to you, bending down to grab his bookbag. His movement pulls you out of your thoughts.

"You should tell him, you know, instead of staring at him like that," Chan says as he plops himself next to you on the couch, bending down to grab his bookbag. You shake your head at him.

"Chan, you know I suck at feelings," you reply softly as he starts to pack his belongings. A chuckle escapes his mouth as he puts his practice shoes in his bag, swapping them for Crocs, and grabs his water bottle.

You were truly never good at expressing yourself to someone you had a crush on, and especially since, for the first time, it was on someone who was way out of your league.

"Yeah, but he likes you too, trust me. He just gets so nervous around you he can't talk. I think you should break the ice," he utters as he throws his bookbag on his shoulder and makes a line for the door to leave.

You stand up, following Chan to leave the room. Looking over your shoulder, you smile at the damp-haired boy sitting on the floor staring at his own reflection in the mirror.

"Mhmm, maybe one day."
