YOUR POV
You and Lee Know were sitting on the couch in his living room, watching a marathon of some horrid movie that came out three years ago, when he just leaned in and started to kiss you. Of course, you had no problem with it, preferring to make out with him over watching a movie any day. Being used to this, his random acts of physical touch, it didn't really shock you.

His lips had been teasing you more than normal, and they had started to find their way toward your chin and down to your neck, interchanging from time to time. This was the point in your relationship where you really started getting more intimate, trying a few different things for pleasure but never really having sex. With the way he had just brought the kiss on, you were certain that he was thinking he had probably wanted something more than the latter.

"Do you need something from me?" You ask a bit jokingly, feeling him smirk against your cheek. You figured you were right. He leans up into your ear to whisper, and it makes you shiver when his breath touches your ear.

"I don't want you to just be my friend.... or whatever this is," He mumbles then presses his lips against yours again, a little more forceful than before. What did he mean? Was he trying to make things more official or would he want to end this? Well, there was no way he wanted to end this, seeing as he kept on kissing you. He pulls away a bit to attach his lips to your neck, sucking on it softly, in a way that you thought would leave some dark hickies.

"What do you mean?" You let out as a soft moan. He doesn't answer, his lips still on your neck trailing down to your chest area and landing little kisses there as well. He pulls away and starts landing quick butterfly kisses around your face, making you chuckle. He knew that quick kisses gave you instant butterflies in your stomach.

"Lee Know - stop it." You chuckle, and he does stop giving you the soft butterfly kisses, but he doesn't stop teasing you altogether. He trails his lips back up to your chin and stops when he's directly under your ear. His lips pull off of your skin, and nothing could have prepared you for what he was about to say.

"Will you be my girlfriend... officially?" He whispers, his tone turning soft and serious for a moment. You stare at him wide-eyed, trying to analyze the situation in front of you. Out of complete and utter shock, being more nervous than anything, you find yourself laughing at him right in his face. Which was an automatic mistake.

"Ha ha, what?" You pull back slightly and continue to laugh until you feel a slight cramp start to build up in your stomach. The second you pause to take a breath, that's when you notice the upset demeanor forming on his face. He was serious, and your reaction definitely upset him without you meaning it to.

"Oh, are - are you serious?" You ask him, shifting yourself on the couch a bit. His eyebrow arches and you remind yourself to give yourself a big slap in the face when you get home.

"Why wouldn't I be serious?" He says and absolutely sits back from you now, his eyebrows arching in confusion. Your face drops, not expecting this, at least not this soon. The two of you had been seeing each other for 5 months which was long enough for him to ask you to be his, but Lee Know was an idol, which already made this relationship more difficult than it had to be.

Already having to move around in hiding so you two don't get caught was one thing, but now that he was asking you to be his girl, the reality of everything just set in. He's an idol, who's to say that he was genuinely serious or if he was saying it to get a future fuck out of you, you couldn't tell. Although you had secretly wished for this moment, him asking you to be his girlfriend scared you more than anything.

"Because you're you and I'm me. You're an idol, and I'm just - (Y/N). In what universe would this actually happen?" You say without thinking clearly about the words flowing out of your mouth. His eyes get wide at your statement.

"In what universe? You don't think this could really happen, huh?" His tone gets a bit darker, and you know you should correct yourself before he really gets angry.

"Not in that sense, like there's no way you want something serious... I thought we were just... I thought we were just fooling around.... Like friends with benefits without the sex?" You say, sitting on your heels and leaning back. He stays silent, an action you got too familiar with when his thoughts were racing, which nothing good ever came out from it. He scoffs, sitting back from you, then his jaw twitches.

"I think you should get out," He mutters a bit, his eyes dragging off to the side. Yeah, you hurt his feelings, definitely going to have to slap yourself later. You shake your head at him, leaning towards him to try and place your hand on his arm.

"No, no, we should talk... I'm not saying no." He flinches back a bit when your hand touches him.

"I don't want to get mad at you (Y/N)... Just. Get. Out." He states a bit more clearly now before standing up and grabbing your sweater to hand it off to you. You follow suit and stand up just trying to match his level so that he wouldn't intimidate you too much. He lightly tosses your sweater at you, which you catch out of reflex, and he starts to walk around the living room table in order to head towards the door. You follow him, still trying to get him to pause for a moment.

"Wait- Lee Know." You mutter as you usher behind him slowly. "Don't do this. Don't push me out." He stops now, standing by the door and grabs the knob to open it.

"No, get out, right now!" He says then stands to the side of the door, making a clear path for you to walk through. You hesitate, not knowing what to say to give you a chance to explain yourself. Your face drops, and your chest tightens slightly. He looks at you staring at him, a moment of silence happening between you.

His eyes were softened, looking more of a light color than his usual shade, which confused you for a moment because you thought he was coming from a place of anger, maybe because you laughed in his face, but he was hurt, he was actually hurt... he couldn't have felt the same you felt about him this whole time right? He couldn't have been in love with you, could he?

"Lee Know, I didn't mean that okay, can we just talk real quick?" He tuts his teeth, a sarcastic chuckle leaving his mouth as he shakes his head. You walk outside, not wanting to have to force him to force you out of his apartment. You stand in front of him now, still trying to read his face.

"Have a nice life, alright? I'm done." He says and then slams the door in your face, not giving you a moment to rebuttal. There was no way, there was no way your life was crumbling in front of you right now. Did he just say that he was done? As in we were done? He couldn't have meant it really. The two of you argued all the time, and you would be back the next day.

Yeah, that was what would happen, you would talk to each other tomorrow, or he'd text you later to give you a chance to talk, and all of this would be okay. Still, you currently had no ride back home. He had picked you up from work and brought you over to his place.

Now the walk wasn't too bad, maybe about 10-15 minutes, from his place, but it was dark and cold out, and he would normally drop you off even if it still meant that he had to park down the block and walk with you up the road to your place.

"So what, you're just gonna let me walk home, alone?" You yell through the door, hoping he still could hear you. You knew he could, but he doesn't reply, and you guess that was your answer. You sigh before getting yourself ready to walk for the next 10 minutes, not that bad of a walk for sure, but the drive beats this.

There was no way he was going to stay mad at you forever, you knew that. But you decided that it was probably best to give him some time to think, in case whatever was running through his head would make him say something he didn't mean. You did just laugh in his face when he tried to ask you something serious.

Whatever it was, you knew this wasn't the last time you were going to see him.
