YOUR POV
You lay in bed with Chan, his arm wrapped around your waist. This was one of the quieter moments you missed since becoming a mom. The two of you rarely had time to embrace each other due to taking care of your child and the work you both did. Since he was always out or traveling because he was an idol, and you were involved with your job which sometimes required trips as well, the only time the two of you had to relax was when your daughter was sleeping, which wasn't very often, or if the nanny was taking care of her.

However, she couldn't sleep for the last two days without Chan. He was away, filming a part of a music video for an upcoming comeback, and since your daughter was too small to travel, the two of you couldn't go with him. She had cried those two days straight and refused to go to sleep on her regular schedule until Chan came home early today. She had relaxed the second Chan took her into his arms and fell asleep within minutes of him holding her. She'd been asleep for the past two hours, and the two of you took the time to shower and watch a movie in your bedroom until she needed you two again.

"(Y/N)," Chan's sweet and soft voice spoke into your neck.

"Yeah, babe?" you asked, turning around to face him.

"I love you, I love us, and I love the little family that we've started," he said, then kissed your lips gently.

"Mhmm... I love you, I love us, and I love the little family we've started too," you said, kissing his lips back but harder. He didn't stop you and pushed himself on top of you, placing himself slightly over you so he was hovering. He moved his hands from your waist and brought them under your shirt. Before anything started, you heard a cry come from the other room, signaling that your child was now awake. Chan grunted and reluctantly got off of you.

"I got it," he said, then walked into the other room to check on your child. She quieted down, and you could tell that she had just been picked up; she loved to be carried around. After that, she started to cry again, and you could hear Chan speaking to her. She continued to cry, and you decided to go see what was going on.

You walked into the child's room and saw Chan holding your little girl. Her cheeks perked up at the sight of you, and she stopped crying, reaching her little hands toward you, grabbing the air. Chan noticed this and walked toward you, handing her to you.

"I don't know what I did wrong," he said with a slight pout on his face as he leaned into the door frame.

"You didn't do anything wrong, babe. As much as she likes to be held, she's just very picky about it sometimes."

"Well, I don't think she likes me. Maybe I'm a bad father. I mean, I'm barely even here; maybe she doesn't recognize me." You moved over to a rocking chair in the room and started bouncing her up and down on one of your legs, she giggled. Your eyes moved up to Chan.

"Honey, you're not a bad father. She loves you, okay?" He came and sat next to you in a different chair in the room.

"I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I mean, am I honestly?" he asked.

"No, you're not. While you were shooting your video, she didn't sleep. She stayed up all two nights crying and crying, not sleeping. She only stopped when you came this morning, Chan. She knows who her dad is, and she loves him. I love him too." Just then, your daughter turned to face Chan, and a smile appeared on her face, followed by some drool. She opened her arms, leaning toward him.

Chan chuckled and reached for her, and she went to him. She made happy sounds and mumbled in her baby language.

"You think she knows what we were talking about?" he asked as she started bouncing on his leg, letting out vibrant sounds.

"Most definitely," you said, then placed your lips on her cheeks, blowing air in them. She laughed some more, and Chan joined in on the action, the room filling with her laughter. This was the family that you were proud to call yours.
