YOUR POV
Prom was in a few hours, and to say you were freaking out beyond comprehension was an understatement. You hadn't talked to Han since the little argument in the car, and you were a bit scared to see how this would unfold once you saw him at prom. Okay, maybe "a bit" was also an understatement, but that's exactly why you were freaking out.He had figured out that you still loved him after all this time of pretending not to, and although you did not reply, you knew that he knew. That wasn't the only thing on your mind though. Han had a date; he actually had a date that wasn't you, which you weren't used to. The girl who was rumored to ask him actually did it, and he actually said yes. You couldn't believe it; of course, you had told him you didn't care, but he had to know you were lying. It broke your heart when you had found out.
And now, to make matters worse, you had to go and see them there together. You weren't one to be childish about such things, but this was Han you were talking about. As much as you didn't want to admit it, you did love him, and you couldn't stand seeing the person you love have one of their best memories be with another girl.
At that, there is a knock on your door, and you knew it was before the voice spoke up.
"Honey, can I come in?" She asked softly, her concern evident in her voice.
"Yes," You replied, your voice almost a whisper. When she walked in, you could feel her gaze on you, and you knew she was worried about you.
"Baby, why are you still not getting ready for prom? You only have about—" She paused and checked the watch on her wrist. "Two hours left." You shrugged, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside you.
"I already showered, I'm just slumped... help me?" You said, your voice barely above a murmur, adding a little pout at the end. She sighed, a mix of understanding and concern in her eyes, before a warm smile lit up her face.
"Of course, sweetie. Let's get you ready. You'll look stunning tonight," She said reassuringly, coming over to sit beside you on the bed. You were going to go anyway; you might as well look good while you're there.
PROM TIME
A few of the guys, Han, I.N, Lee Know, and Felix, had dates for prom, so they had decided to take separate cars with their dates and meet everyone at prom. Everyone else, including you, had decided to just spend money on getting a shared limo, and as you all rode to the venue, it was clear that there was some sort of tension in the air. Everyone had gotten quiet, and here and there, you would catch slight glances from them. You didn't really feel like playing games tonight when you had more pressing matters on your mind, so you spoke up."He told you guys, didn't he?" You asked, and all their eyes landed on you immediately. A part of you hoped he did, and a part had hoped he didn't. Keeping the secret of the two of you dating was enough, and maybe them finding out would mean that they could help the two of you figure it out, or the long-standing friendship would finally end.
"Pft... told us what?" Hyunjin asked, and you rolled your eyes at him.
"You know very well what I'm talking about, blondie." He rolled his eyes at you before opening his mouth to speak.
"He told us you two got into an argument and currently weren't speaking. We asked what it was over, but he just said it wasn't that important." Wasn't that important? Either he was trying to cover it up, or that was genuinely how he felt about the whole situation. You know what, it didn't even matter at this point.
"Yeah, it wasn't," You simply agreed.
"Well, it seems important enough for you two to not be talking," Chan spoke up. You scoffed at him and crossed your arms over your chest.
