Minji
I was so fucking confused right now. Mr Park's daughter is Hanni?
"Wait a minute, hold up, who are you anyway?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. My head was beginning to hurt from the wave of confusion beginning to drown me in its merciless aggression.
"I'm Sakura, the nurse that took care of Hanni during her accident," Sakura replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
I guess I really didn't know anything about Hanni, even this nurse I have never met before knew more about my own secretary than me. I thought I was starting to get a gist of this twisted situation, but I proved myself wrong. It's like studying for a test, you think you're read to take on everything single question with ease, but when you look at the paper you're thrown into a whirlwind of despair and confusion.
"Her accident?" I tried getting more information.
"Who are you though?" Sakura seemed to have ignored my question.
"I'm Minji, a friend of Hanni's," I say, not sure whether I'm telling the truth or not, but it's what I'd like to think.
Sakura went silent for a bit, her head tilted slightly as she stared me down like a security camera scanning the area.
"And she hasn't told you about her accident?" she questioned, raising an eyebrow.
I shook my head, intrigued by the new information I could be gaining. I expectantly looked at her, hoping she'd be able to explain, but the nurse just nods towards the door. It's already beginning to close.
"It's best if you hear it from her," Sakura gives me a smile, before pushing her way through my body guards and disappearing into the night.
I'm dazed for a bit, the factory in my mind working over time to try and put together this seemingly impossible puzzle. I snap out of my reverie and gesture for Jungwon and Sunoo to follow me, as they are the best suited for this. We hurry through the tunnel, my heart racing in chest as though trying to escape. The sound of our foot steps and ragged breathing echo around us in the narrow space.
Once we reach the end, we come face to face with a dark wood door. I tug on the handle, but of course it's locked. Before I could reach in my pocket for a hair pin to pick the lock, Jungwon moves me out of the way and effortlessly breaks through the wood like it's nothing with a single spinning kick. Damn, he's strong.
He and Sunoo go through the hole first and I'm greeted with the sounds of battle. Perhaps the handprint was red because it identified me as an intruder. I don't know what to do, I can hear strike after strike being made between the three men. Maybe Mr Park would be distracted enough so I can go find Hanni?
The thought of Hanni is enough to propel me through the hole and I enter the hideout. It's pretty much a normal one bedroom studio, and I have to admit, it's pretty cool.
"Minji! What a surprise!" Mr Park grins widely when he sees me, walking towards me with open arms, completely abandoning the violent exchange he was in the middle of with Jungwon and Sunoo. I duck under his arms, punching him hard in the face.
The man stumbles back, coughing up blood. He glares daggers into me, his eyes darkens as he wipes the blood from his mouth. Sunoo is immediately in front of me, blocking the hit I was about to recieve.
"You and Jungwon go find Hanni!" he shouts out, kicking Mr Park in the stomach and bringing out his walkie talkie to call for back up.
I turn to the cat like boy and he nods, determination written all over his face. We rush around the house, trying to find any secret openings or anything that could lead us to Hanni. But we couldn't find anything and all the rooms are empty. The sounds of the fight behind us is not making matters any better either.
