Ladybug had never wanted Chat Noir more.

As they touched down on their balcony, it didn't matter that Adrien and Kagami were lazing around the pool staring up at them. It didn't matter that they were there at all—all that mattered was that she got her hands on her partner. He'd been so selfless during the battle, and she couldn't help the increased spiralling in her stomach from the way he'd saved that small child. Something blossomed inside her—big and boundless.

He was incredible.

Pushing her fingers through his hair, she pushed up onto her toes to get her lips level with his, pressing herself against him and kissing him as though her life depended on it. Stealing every inch of his breath in the way he'd stolen every inch of her heart.

"You're amazing," she huffed, moving away from him and giving them both a chance to breathe.

"Nothing compares to you, Bugaboo." She felt a groan vibrate in her throat as she moved forward again, stretching up higher and wrapping her arms around his neck.

She lowered down, pulling him with her to her level. She made the most of being close to him, kissing him with all the gratefulness she could muster. As she moved away again, she slid her hands down over his shoulders and his biceps before cupping his hands with hers. She began to walk backwards, leading them both into the bedroom.

His lips pulled up at one side, letting go of one of her hands to close the door, and close the blinds. "So, M'Lady, where were we?"

Giggling, she moved towards the bed, keeping one of his hands firmly attached in hers. "I believe you were indisposed."

"Was I now? And what had put me in such a situation?"

His smile was wide and bright, his eyes sparkling as they grew closer and closer to the bed. Her hand tightened around his. "Call off the suit, Kitty." Her voice teased in a way she never knew was possible.

She was sure that if her little Kitty swore, an expletive would be dancing out of mouth right now. Instead, she heard a groan and watched his eyes roll in the way she'd only ever seen when he'd eaten mint chocolate chip ice cream.

With a small giggle, she turned them around and pushed him down onto the bed, climbing up to place a knee on either side of him and settling herself on his lap. She placed her hands on his shoulders, her thumbs stroking at the crease of his neck, touching him delicately and enjoying being so close. It just felt right.

Her hands continued up, cupping under his chin and raising his head so his eyes met hers. "Hey," she said, leaning forwards and pressing a quick, delicate kiss to his lips.

"Hi to you too."

His hands grabbed hold of her waist and kept her there, pressed onto him. Chest to chest, face to face. She kissed him on the lips again, this time leaving herself there for a little longer, allowing herself to become familiar with his flavour, a flavour that tasted better than home—and, considering she lived in a bakery, that was saying a lot.

Arching her back, her chest brushed against his, her hands moving from around his chin to up into his hair. Her palm tickled from the soft movement of hair as it fell through the gaps in her fingers and back into its wild position on his head. "Your hair is so soft."

She repeated the action again a couple of times before his hands left her hips and grabbed ahold of her wrists. "Stop," he said, his voice thick and gruff, and oh so masculine. "Stop," he repeated again, this time softer. He moved her hands down and in between their chests, holding them tightly and stopping her from touching. He lifted their joined hands up and kissed the side of both of hers before looking into her eyes.
