"Do my eyes deceive me? Is that signore e signora Noir?"

It had been four years since they'd last graced San Valentino with their presence, but, when they were planning their honeymoon, it was a given that they'd come here again. No questions asked.

Life had changed greatly over that time. The events of Mr and Mrs Valentine Island had led to the downfall of Monarch. Who would've ever guessed? Unfortunately, it seemed Gabriel had a secret, one that Félix was all too eager to share, and one that ultimately put an end to anarchy across the city of love.

It was strange to come back here in their suits, considering they hadn't had to wear them for the better part of three years now.

"Anthoney," Chat Noir (her husband) said, reaching out to shake the man's hand. "How have you been?"

The manager shook his hand, and then Anthoney grabbed hers, greeting them like a long-lost friend. "It's so lovely to see you again, and married, too, I hear."

"Yes, signore, I made an honest woman of her two days ago."

And wasn't that the truth! They'd married at the Eiffel Tower, the whole of Paris gathering to celebrate the nuptials of Paris's second-favourite couple, as Paris' new favourites were coincidently caught up moving in together. Adrien had proposed to Marinette the previous Valentine's Day, and their wedding would be coming up in a year's time (again honeymooning at the resort).

Anthoney smiled, leading them over to the VIP desk in the corner, a bellhop ready to take their bags for them. "We've taken the liberty of placing you in a solo villa this time. I hope you don't mind."

Ladybug smiled. "That sounds amazing. Thank you." She wrapped an arm around Chat Noir's, watching as he animatedly checked them in, conversing easily with their old friend.

Life had been hard and wonderful since they returned home four years ago. They'd grown closer as Ladynoir, working on their dynamic as a team and figuring how they stood moving forward. Adrien and Marinette had a completely different set of hurdles. They had the complexity of dealing with his father. Félix had become quite the helpful ally.

But the best part was their friends. They had burst at the news and threw together a high-octane party, begging to know how they'd gotten together and when.

Marinette and Adrien had given their own version of the truth. After the showdown on stage, Adrien had gone to call Marinette, and, from there, the rest was history. He'd spoken to her, declared his love, and made her his as soon as they were back in Paris.

It seemed all of their friends were so happy, they didn't even care that the story sounded too fantastical to be real.

Anthoney walked them out towards the golf cart, personally delivering them to their chauffeur. He handed over a map of the resort, the key, and an envelope. "So, as you know, this time of year is our Mr and Mrs—"

"No!" they both interrupted.

Ladybug took the items from Anthoney and gave him a gracious smile. "Thank you, Anthoney," she said, not wanting to come across too harsh in their dismissal. But it wouldn't work for them...not this time around.

"Well, let me know if you need anything." He followed them around the cart, holding out a hand to help her in before checking on her husband.

As Chat Noir slid in next to her, he took her hand in his. "Thanks, Anthoney, but I have everything I need right here."

When he lifted her hand to his lips, she basked in his love and affection. Their story was far from perfect, and far from over. There would still be unwritten challenges and obstacles to overcome. But that didn't matter; all that did was that they were together, fighting through life, side by side.

As Anthoney sent the golf cart off, Ladybug moved her hand to her stomach.

"Yes, you do, Kitty. Yes, you do."
