Two weeks had passed since Sloane and Paige decided to take things slow, and in those two weeks, their relationship had blossomed in ways Sloane hadn't expected. They texted non-stop, filling their conversations with flirty banter, deep discussions, and everything in between, including sex which was one of the best parts of it all.

Their tutoring sessions had become more than just academic help; they were an excuse to spend time together, share laughs, and steal glances. They had begun hanging out after every session, often extending their time together into the evenings and sometimes even the weekends.

Sloane found herself looking forward to their time together more and more. Paige had a way of making her feel seen, understood, and cherished. Whether they were watching a movie, going for a walk, or just sitting in comfortable silence, every moment felt special. And now, as she stood in front of her mirror, Sloane couldn't help but smile at the thought of their upcoming date. An actual date.

Paige had asked her out in the sweetest way possible. She was in Minnesota, because of their game but she got to stay at her family's house instead of a hotel. Like usual, in the locker room right before a game she face-timed Drew and he made her promise that if they won she would ask out Sloane, perhaps even he was tired of the abgsg. Of course Uconn took the win so, the Monday when Paige got back Sloane's cheer practice was already over so she made her way too her dorm room with her favorite flowers and snacks and the rest is history.

Bringing us to present day, Sloane was getting ready for that date, and her nerves were through the roof. She wanted to look perfect. She chose a simple yet elegant dress, one that Paige had never seen before, It was black with no sleeves and it hugged her curves in all the right places. She paired it with a gold jewelry and her favorite pair of heels. Her hair was styled in loose waves, and she applied just enough makeup to highlight her features.

As she finished up, Haven walked into their dorm, taking one look at Sloane and whistling appreciatively. "you look so sexy!"

Sloane laughed, her cheeks tinged with a blush. "Are you sure? I'm so nervous."

Haven walked over and gave her a reassuring hug. "You're going to be fine. Shes like in love with you already."

Sloane laughed at Havens exaggeration
Just then, there was a knock at the door. Haven gave her a knowing look and opened it to reveal Paige, standing there with a bouquet of flowers and the cutest smile.

"Hi Sloane." Paige said, her voice soft and full of warmth. She held out the flowers. "These are for you."

Sloane's heart skipped a beat as she took the bouquet, the sweet scent of the flowers filling her senses. "Awww there's so pretty,Thank you."

Paige's eyes sparkled as she looked at Sloane. "You look stunning."

Sloane felt a rush of warmth at the compliment. "says you!"

Haven chuckled from behind them. "Alright, lovebirds, go have fun and remember I won't be here when you get back." she said with a wink.

With one last glance at her supportive roommate, Sloane took Paige's offered hand, and they headed out.

The drive to the restaurant was filled with easy conversation and light laughter. Paige's hand felt warm and reassuring on her thigh the whole ride there, grounding her and calming any  nerves.

The restaurant was a charming little Italian place that Sloane loved. The ambiance was cozy and intimate, with soft lighting and the mouth-watering aroma of garlic and herbs wafting through the air. Paige had chosen the place because she knew Sloane loved pasta.
