On the way home, Wooyoung was shocked at how well he kept it together. But the moment he walked through the front door, he completely fell apart.

"Holy shit." He cried, holding a pillow close to his chest as he laid on the couch.

He was mixed with immense happiness but also so much sadness. Seeing his brother again meant the world to him and it couldn't have gone better. But he wished he never had to say goodbye. The truth was that he wasn't sure when he'd see him next. The uncertainty was painful to think about.

Wooyoung waited for San to get home, prepared to answer every single question he knew was coming his way.

Even though he only had to wait two hours, it felt like six. But he was relieved once San came rushing over to the couch and laid behind him.

"It's okay, you're okay." The teacher quietly reassured, holding Wooyoung close as he continued to cry. "I'm right here, baby, I'm right here." San was expecting this when he got home so he knew exactly how to handle the situation. Calling Seonghwa and asking for help on the way home was also very helpful. Especially after finding out that quite literally everyone knew except for him.

"That was just a lot."

"Do you wanna talk about it yet or do you still need a minute?"

"No, no, I'm okay." Wooyoung shook his head. "We can talk about it."

San sighed, then kissed the top of his head. "Was I upsetting you every time I brought him up?"

Wooyoung wasn't expecting that to be his first question, but it helped him know San wasn't angry with him for keeping away something so important.

"It doesn't matter, you didn't know."

"I'm so sorry."

"No, don't apologize. There was no way you would've known."

"It crossed my mind, but I genuinely thought it was impossible. You're from Ilsan?"

"Yeah." Wooyoung nodded. "I actually went to that elementary school."

"Holy shit."

"There were a few reasons I didn't tell you. One: I know you too well. You would've absolutely tried to take matters into your own hands."

"That's true." San mumbled.

"Two: I didn't want you to put your new job in jeopardy because you'd be messing with something that doesn't involve you, and there could be intense consequences. And three: I really wanted to see him myself."

"How long has it been?"

"Five years."

"I watched him. The second he saw you, he knew exactly who you were."

"I know." Wooyoung cried, still overjoyed by that. "Did you talk to him later on about it?"

"He just told me to tell you he said hi."

"Did he ask how we knew each other?"

"No, thankfully. I don't know what I'd even say."

"Just tell him we're friends, that's all."

San maneuvered onto his back, pulling Wooyoung onto his chest as he kissed the top of his head softly.

"I can't believe I was saying there was a mini version of you in my class. God, I'm such an idiot." San softly smiled, finding it just a bit comical.

"Well, you certainly weren't wrong."

"Somehow, it makes it a lot less freaky now."

"Don't give him special treatment. That was another reason I didn't tell you."
