San
Come over, I miss youWooyoungieeeeee
Wooyoungggggg
Babyyyyyy
Pleaseeeeeee
San sighed and ultimately decided to give up. He'd been texting Wooyoung for over an hour and there was no reply. Maybe he was being too clingy? Maybe he did something wrong? He didn't have a clue, but it was driving him crazy.
It'd been a while since the professor had dinner alone. He'd gotten so used to being with Wooyoung almost every day after school; it naturally became a part of his routine.
He knew Wooyoung didn't have a shift at Cyberpunk tonight, so he began to wonder if everything was okay. Needing to find out, San finally decided to call.
But it rang, and rang, and rang...but no reply.
So he decided to call Seonghwa next, hoping he'd know. Wooyoung typically likes to tell Hongjoong everything first.
"Hey, what's up?" The Psych professor answered.
"Are you with Hongjoong right now?"
"No, why?"
"Shit."
"Why? Is everything okay?"
"Wooyoung hasn't responded to any of my texts or calls. It's freaking me out and I'm getting really paranoid."
"Okay, there's no reason to freak out." Seonghwa tried his best to calm his friend down. "Did you have plans tonight?"
"No, but I asked him to come over."
"And he didn't respond to that?"
"No." San stressed. "What if he's ignoring me? Did I do something wrong?"
"I doubt it. He doesn't shut up about you."
"Then what do I do? I'm really worried."
"I'll text Hongjoong really quick. Maybe Wooyoung picked up a shift last minute for some extra money." San waited as he heard Seonghwa type. The suspense was like a death sentence. "Shit."
"What?" San panicked.
"He's not there, so now he's worried too."
"I hope he's okay. Wait, you don't think he's with someone else, do you?"
"I really hope not."
"Should I go to his apartment?"
"Have you ever been?"
"No." San mumbled. "He always comes to my house."
"Hongjoong just sent me his address. He wants you to go check on him."
San immediately grabbed his car keys and rushed out the door. So many possibilities of what Wooyoung could be doing scared him because all of them were negative.
Part of him felt like he was overreacting and acting psychotic. But he also believed he was just trying to make sure the boy he loved was safe, and that they were okay.
"This can't be it." San said to himself, looking at the tattered building. He left his car and walked inside, then up the stairs to the third floor. "306." He found the right door and knocked, but there was no answer. The professor was beginning to regret coming here because he felt like he seemed like a stalker, but Hongjoong asked him to go. "Wooyoungie." He chose to go against his better judgement and checked if the door was unlocked - which it was.
San knew he was at the right place because he recognized the shoes on the floor. That helped ease his anxiety just a bit, now knowing that he didn't just break into a stranger's apartment.
