San woke up the next morning with an excruciating headache and an empty bed. He wasn't sure why he had such high hopes that Jet would stay.
"I swear to fucking god." He mumbled, looking at the time on his phone.
8:55am.
His morning lecture started in five minutes.
For the first time in his teaching career, not only was he late, but he was actually about to show up in sweatpants and the worst case of bed head known to man.
"I'm here, I'm here." He rushed in through the door in a panic. Conversation quickly and quietly began amongst the students regarding his appearance.
"I swear, he's the hottest professor I've ever seen." A girl next to Wooyoung said to her friend. He wanted to throw her across the room. Yes, he was jealous.
"Wooyoung?" Professor Choi smiled, noticing the iced coffee on his desk. The student raised his own cup as a cheers. Technically it should be a little suspicious that he knew San would be late, but no one seemed to think anything of it.
Not only did the caffeine wake the professor, but so did the gesture from his favorite student. It was almost like he was being taunted by Wooyoung's kindness.
After that, San didn't skip a beat. He may look like a wreck, but he taught as if he was still wearing a suit and tie.
The only issue was that he forgot his glasses so he couldn't look up into the back row to see Wooyoung. It was nothing but a blur. As he continued teaching, he began to wonder what the student was wearing. But that seemed to be the worst thought possible because it progressed into a fantasy of taking the student's clothes off instead.
He hoped being with Jet would help, but it somehow made it worse. They had the same hair color, a similar tone of voice. He had the exact body he imagined Wooyoung would have as well. This led him to imagine that's who he was with last night as a result.
Wooyoung's eyes widened once he noticed the small bulge growing in his professor's pants. He had absolutely no clue what could possibly be going through San's mind, but he needed to think fast.
He had three ideas: purposefully fall down the stairs, cough really loud, or text Hongjoong and tell him to ask Seonghwa if he could 'check on San'.
Now panicking, Wooyoung obnoxiously began to cough. After three seconds, everyone's eyes were on him.
Professor Choi couldn't tell where it was coming from so he was about to resume his lesson. But he felt strange once he was knocked out of his focused thoughts. That's when he looked down and realized the issue.
"Class dismissed!" He abruptly said.
Every student rushed out of the room, overjoyed that they got to leave early. That was all but one.
"Sorry, I panicked." Wooyoung awkwardly laughed.
"That was you?"
"Coughing? Yeah."
"Fuck." San whined, then sat down in his chair. "I owe you one for that. And the coffee. Thank you."
"Of course." He nodded. "Have you ever been late before?"
"Never in my life. Not once! But it was a crazy night, I'm not even gonna lie."
"You? Partying on a school night?"
"I slept with a god damn stripper." San dramatically said, repeatedly tapping his head on the desk.
Wooyoung couldn't believe he'd admit to something like that to a student. But the secrets between them had seemed to lessen as of late.
