"Choi San, stop being lazy and go make me breakfast." Wooyoung whined, putting all of his body weight on top of the former professor.

"You know what I find funny?" San wrapped his arms around the boy, kissing him slowly. "You used to respect me and treat me like your superior once upon a time."

"Tragic, isn't it."

"I'll only make you breakfast if you help me."

"I don't wanna move yet." He whined.

San sighed, knowing that would be the case. So he continued to rub Wooyoung's back, hoping they'd get a few extra minutes in bed before they started their morning.

"You feeling okay?"

Wooyoung faintly nodded, expectedly falling back asleep. "Just hungry."

"Okay, baby." San kissed his temple and closed his eyes, curious but grateful that they seemed better than they've been as of this morning. Maybe that meant Wooyoung had finally come to a decision. He assumed a conversation with Hongjoong about it is what helped.

Suddenly, Wooyoung's phone began to buzz on the nightstand, earning an obnoxious groan as he went to grab it.

"Can I help you?"

"Wow, good morning." Seonghwa laughed.

"Shit, I'm sorry. I thought you were-"

"You're okay, don't worry. Hongjoong told me about your plan though."

"Gotcha."

"He's got an interview next week - the day after New Year's."

"How the fuck did you do that?"

"I have my ways." The Psych professor smiled.

"Where is it?"

"Ilsan."

It was almost as if Wooyoung's heart was ripped out of his chest. That was the last place he would've chosen. Actually, it probably wouldn't have been an option all together.

"Gotcha."

"The timing worked out like you wouldn't believe. They have a 5th grade teacher going on maternity leave, but she doesn't plan on coming back. So San would just fill in for the rest of the year, then take the job full time after the summer. If he gets the job, that is."

"I'm trying to be calm."

"Are you with him right now?"

"Yes."

"Oh my god, we'll talk later." Seonghwa laughed. "Bye, Wooyoung."

"Bye."

Once they were off the phone, San looked more confused than ever.

"Who was that?" He asked.

"Make me breakfast, then we'll talk. That's as long as I'm willing to wait."

Eager to know, San lifted Wooyoung up and carried him down the stairs. He thought it was cute when the boy would squeeze him tightly as if he was going to fall.

"Alright." San sat him down on the kitchen counter and stood between his legs. "Just tell me who it was."

"Seonghwa."

That made San's suspicions grow even stronger. What would his best friend need at ten in the morning?

"Why?" He slowly asked.

"Am I not allowed to talk to a friend of mine?" Wooyoung innocently said.

"A friend of yours?" San smiled. "You mean, my best friend?"
