Chapter 6

Iris POV:
It was a brand new day and me and robby were at the skatepark again, this time he said he wanted to show me some new tricks including what he had learned with my dad during their little adventure. I decided to sit back and watch this time. It was cute how many times he had fallen and got back up until he got it right. He was really determined to show me what he had learned. That's one of the things i liked about him, he's always determined to get it right whatever it is no matter how many times he has to do it. It was admirable honestly.

After Many attempts he finally was able to the trick he's been wanting to show me and i gave him a big round of applause and he laughed a bit setting himself upright again and came up to me giving me a quick kiss and just stayed clinged to me for a while

"Robby i have to go to school now i've skipped too many classes" I told him even if i didn't wanna let go either and i was just met with a groan

"Do you have to go?" He complained not wanting to let go of me

"Yes i have to go before the school calls my parents and i get in trouble" I said and he eventually let go

"Just call me after yeah?"

"I will i promise" I gave him one last kiss before i grabbed my bag and my skateboard heading off to school

Timeskip

After some time I made it to school, I had just missed first period and I had gotten a pass from the office when I noticed Miguel in the hallways talking to Sam. I knew she liked him this entire time and they must've gotten together at some point and she didn't tell me. I was about to go up to them and tease them about it but something felt off, miguel didn't look very happy and sam just looked worried and confused as well wondering what had him so down. I eventually went up to them but miguel was already leaving, i tried to get his attention but he just ignored me. What was his problem?

"Hey, what's wrong with him? He just totally ignored me and he never does that" I questioned wondering what was up with my best friend

"I- I don't know he just came out of class looking upset.. I tried to ask him what was wrong but he just said it was the tournament and he was distracted and.. I don't know iris i feel like he's lying to me" My sister informed me sadly now looking down and i put a comforting hand on her shoulder

"Hey it's probably just something personal, he always gets like this sometimes when he has personal issues going on and he never talks about it not even to me and i'm his best friend.. Look what i'm saying is he'll come around eventually just give him some time to calm down" I advised and gave her a small hug

"And if he doesn't come around i'll make sure to kick his ass for you" I joked making a small laugh escape her lips

"Thanks sis..really thank you"

"Anytime, that's what sisters are for" I smiled a bit before setting off to class and my sister called after me "Iris! I still wanna know what happened on that date last night!"

I rolled my eyes and shouted back "I'll tell you later!" I laughed and set off to class to finish the rest of my day

After School

It was afternoon now and me and the gang (hawk demitri Aisha Miguel and another student from cobra kai) were all in the park trying to cheer up miguel who had been upset all day and I finally figured out why he was upset. It was just a misunderstanding

"Miguel its a misunderstanding" I told him trying to get him to cheer up

"How's it a misunderstanding iris i know what i saw" He countered

"It's a misunderstanding because the guy you saw talking to sam is my boyfriend" I revealed leaving the group including miguel shocked

"You have a boyfriend?!" Hawk exclaimed as if it was so impossible
