𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝-𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐢

Chapter 1

Third Person POV:

It was another normal day in the larusso household, everything was functioning perfectly, everything was neat and clean, and everyone was happy. Except for one person. Iris larusso. Adoptive daughter of Daniel and Amanda Larusso. They found iris cold and hungry on the street and the two have taken care of her ever since then. They later found out her parents were gone which led to them having full custody over iris and ever since they've been extra protective over her.. sometimes a bit TOO protective which has made iris speak up countless times that shes not a child anymore. Iris has a strong personality she always uses her voice to speak up about things she's passionate about whether anyone agrees with her or not; But she's also Hella smart and is at the top of her classes, some would say she's even smarter than her sister to which Samantha never really commented on that, but she was proud of her sister.

Another thing about iris is she can be a bit of a loner at times... she may have the famous LaRusso last name lingering above her head, but she never really cared about a last name. Didn't use it to her advantage to try to be "popular" she just wanted to live her life which consisted of going to school and coming home every day, she had her life set and nothing was about to change that. well until now....

Iris Pov: 

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear and my dad yelling at me that breakfast was ready and I was going to be late for school. Hesitantly I rolled out the bed and dragged myself to the closet to find something to wear and I decided on my usual: My beanie, flannel, a gray shirt shorts and sneakers. can't go wrong with a classic right? After I got dressed, I quickly brushed through my hair before putting my beanie on then rushing downstairs and grabbing my skateboard from the garage.

As I'm grabbing my skateboard and I head for the door my dad cuts in. "Shouldn't you try to eat something at least?" he asked me. "Oh right" I said before grabbing a piece of toast taking a few bites out of it and getting a swallow of juice before rushing out the door "bye mom bye dad!" I yelled out before completely leaving the house and getting on my skateboard to skate the rest of the way to school.

As I'm skating on my way there, I noticed a building and painted brightly in black and yellow letters It was the words "COBRA KAI" written on it and underneath must've been the motto that said: "Strike first, strike hard, no mercy" I had heard of cobra kai before from my dad talking about it in the past, but he said it shut down... Someone must've brought it back then. 

After looking at the building for a while I decided I would stop by after school just to see what was going on. and with that I got back on my board and made my way to school.

TIMESKIP TO LUNCH (because let's be clear it's going to be boring going through her whole day)

Time had passed and finally it came to my favorite part of the day (well second favorite part besides going home), Lunch time. I finally made it out the lunch line and sat with my usual group of people: Miguel, Demetri, and Eli. They were my best friends and the only people who made this shithole more bareable. 

"So what's going on today?" i asked as i sat down next to miguel facing the two others.

"Miguel decided to join a karate dojo and is trying to talk us into joining it" Demitri explained still sounding hesitant about miguels proposal and at this i choked on my food. "You-You joined a karate dojo? You? Miguel diaz? Who's always getting his ass kicked and i have to save your ass? Joined a dojo?" I said trying to make sense of this and also confirming this is true. 

"Is it that unbelievable?" Miguel asked me

"little bit. so whats this mystery dojo called that you joined" i asked
