Iris POV:

The next day we were at the dojo getting ready for the new lesson in our way. Sam was stretching her muscles to warm them up, robby was aggressively hitting the punching bag, and i was practicing my movements. We were all in our zones until robby broke the silence.

"Maybe we should just post ourselves sparring on instagram" He suggested and sam sighed

"Everyone already saw us at valley fest, they didn't care" she reminded. I couldn't lie she had a bit of a point there

"You know what the problem is? Miyagi-do is all about defense. " robby said

"Defense wins championships" Sam replied

"Yeah but people show up for offense, that's why cobra kai is more popular. Alright we need to show them we can fight too" I could tell robby had some sort of plan formulating in his mind

"So what do you suggest we do then? Go to a mall and pick a fight and record ourselves winning?" I asked him being mostly sarcastic and he only shrugged his shoulders

"Wouldn't be the worst idea" he said which made me sigh "Its a terrible idea" I told him and went back to training while sam went to go find our dad and she came back telling us we were gonna go for a drive because dad had an idea on how to draw more students to miyagi-do. Me and robby gave each other a look but shrugged anyway and got in the car

We ended up driving to the beach and the scenery on the way there was beautiful so i was mostly zoned out staring at the view. I was broken out my zone when i heard robby speak

"I still don't know how going to the beach is gonna help us attract more students" i heard him say questioning how this is gonna work

"It's not the students that i'm after, it's the parents" my dad replied back

"So you're counting on kids to listen to their parents?" sam asked

"What kid listens to their parents these days" I said inserting myself into the conversation

"No, I'm counting on parents doing whatever it takes to protect their kids. Look, I've tried everything to promote miyagi-do and if this doesn't work.. Then nothing will"

"Fair enough....I hope this works" I replied laying back in the seat enjoying the rest of the ride to the beach

We eventually made it to the beach and no surprise my mom was there as well my dad quickly went with her while me robby and sam were still getting out the car, i looked at robby and i could tell he looked worried

"What's wrong? You alright? You look a bit worried there" i questioned worriedly

"Yeah I'm fine, it's just... i kinda used to work here" he revealed to me

"Really? When?" I asked curiously

"Uh a couple days last summer...it wasn't a great fit" he said still looking a bit worried but went inside anyway

Eventually we all got ourselves situated while sam went to go talk to aisha since she spotted her here me and robby stayed by the beach side just lounging around lazily enjoying a bit of peace

Peace until something happened, a worker came up to us spotting robby and instantly came up to him making me sit up instantly

"I knew it was you!" I heard the worker say "What did i say would happen to you if you ever set foot in here again"

"I'm sorry, is there a problem here?" i asked going up to the guy

"Nothing to worry about miss larusso i'm calling the cops right now"

"Calling the cops on my boyfriend? My guest?" and before he could muster a response my mom stepped in
