Miss Mystic Falls

In Alaric's history class,"Okay, this week we're gonna set outside our regular curriculum for a lesson in local history as we approach Founders' Day. Apparently the community leaders feels it's more important than World War 2 but hey what do I know?"

Grace gave a small chuckle at the dig of Mystic Falls.

Bonnie interrupts him and enters the classroom.

" Sorry I'm late."

Alaric then said,"Well, it looks like we will be at full occupancy today. Welcome home, Bonnie."

Bonnie sits down and smiles at Elena but when she looks at Stefan her smile fades and. Stefan smiles at her but she tries not to look and him and turns her head. Elena and Stefan don't understand, they look at each other.

Grace noticed the tension, she was sat on the other side of Bonnie. She whispered to Bonnie,"Hey. You can borrow my notes if you want to catch up."

Bonnie gave her a grateful smile and said,"Thanks. I appreciate it. Your notes is always so fancy."

Grace rolled her eyes and pulled her notebook from her bag and put it on Bonnie's desk.

"Just be careful with it."

Elena goes down the stairs; she has her dress in her arms. Someone knocks at the door. It's Alaric.

"How...how is Stefan?"
Elena was confused and asked,"What do you mean?"
Alaric stated," You know, he seems on edge."

" He went through a lot, he was in bad shape for a while but he's bouncing back now. "

Grace quietly snuck up to Alaric and questioned,"What are you guys talking about?

Alaric had a small heart attack, looking at his girlfriend's daughter,"How the hell are you so quiet? I think my heart stopped."

She just laughed and whispered in his ear,"Hurt my mother and you will find out all the creepy things I can do."
Alaric looked at Elena, begging for help from Grace and then John arrives.

Grace was dressed in a black dress with flowers and she had black boots on and her hair was down.

"Alaric. Hey buddy, what are you doing here?"

Alaric stated," I'm the chauffeur."

"I thought I was driving."

Jenna came down the stairs with a silver dress and a blazer.

In the founders hall, the contestants are in a dressing room. The girls are putting their make up on. Jenna is curling Elena's hair.

" Thanks for helping me."

Jenna said while trying to curl Elena's hair," Don't thank me until you're sure your hair isn't gonna burn off."

" You know I remember when my mom and I were first applying for this, she was so excited. She just made it sound like so much fun. Lots has changed since then."

Jenna stated," I hate to break it to you, but its a little late for cold feet."

"Okay, I should go put my dress on. Be careful with that thing, don't hurt anybody."

She gets up and leaves, Caroline looks at her, she seems sad.

Grace came into the room out of breath and Caroline smiled at her."I would've been here forever ago, but Mrs Lockwood got to me and tried convincing me to date her son. Again. News flash. Not happening again. Do you need help? Make-up and hair is not my forte, but scaring people , maybe a bit better."

Caroline quickly drew Grace in for a hug and laughed at her rambling.

"I can handle the make up and hair. Just keep me company."

Later ,Caroline Forbes and her escort Jeffrey Lockwood Hamilton walked down the stairs. Grace looked at her proud. Caroline deserved this win.

After the dances, the girls are on the stage and the mayor arrives.

"Where is Amber?"

Elena answered Caroline," I don't know."

Mayor Lockwood announced to the crowd,"Before I crown the winner, I'd like to offer a personal thank you to all of these young ladies for their efforts to better our community." Everyone applause.

"So, without further a due it is my honor to announce our very own Miss Mystic Falls, Miss Caroline Forbes!"

She is surprised. She and Elena are laughing.

Caroline exclaimed happily," I actually won!"
They embrace each other; the mayor puts the banner around her shoulder. Grace screamed and cheered from the crowd. Caroline knows that Grace will always be her supporter.

Stefan, who kidnapped Amber, drags her along the street to his car. Stefan is torn about what he wants to do with her; he wants to feed on her but at the same time he does not want to do it because that is not him and if he does it then there will not be turning back. Stefan bites her not able to resist anymore to his hunger.

Amber starts screaming when Damon arrives with Elena and Bonnie and Stefan releases her. Damon tries to stop him, but Stefan throws him away and then Bonnie uses her powers giving Stefan a headache, snapping him out of his bloody rage and he collapses. When Bonnie stops, Stefan gets up and runs away.

Later Elena went to Stefan's bedroom. In a moment of no control, he pushes her against the wall and Elena looks scared. Elena promises him that she will help him and everything will be fine while she injects him with vervain. Stefan collapses and Elena, along with Damon, lock Stefan in the basement to detox. They both sit outside of the cell.

Grace and Caroline were having a celebratory sleepover at the Gilberts house. Grace made cupcakes and they binged watched some Friends. They just enjoyed life as teenagers for a bit. While they still can.
