Grace was discharged and she was back at home and saw Elena being weird and just avoiding her.

A week later after the 'animal attack' Sheriff Forbes questions everyone about the disappearance of Vicki Donovan, but everyone has the same story to tell, that Vicki had left town and they have no idea when she was coming back. This seems to appease the Sheriff for now.

Elena bumps into Stefan outside the station. Feeling completely stressed out about the whole situation, Elena tells Stefan that she can no longer see him and that he needs to stay away from her.

Grace was at her dad's house a for lunch. They worked together and made some chicken mayo sandwiches. They ate in the living room, while watching television.

"So Dad, I remembered what happened that night, but it will seems crazy. Please do not lock me in a asylum." Grace stuck her pinky out, suggesting a pinky promise. Noah had an idea where this was going, but he did not want her to be frightened by the supernatural. They silently made a pinky promise.

"Vicki was like a vampire and  she started eating Jeremy and then I pushed her off and she came at me, then Elena and Stefan was there and she sucked my neck again and I passed out. Jeremy remember nothing, like his memory was wiped. And he has been different. He is not doing drugs and he does homework." Grace rambled very fast and let out a breath at the end.

Noah rubs his chin in nervousness and said,"I was hoping you would never have to deal with the supernatural." Grace looked flabbergasted and asked,"Wait... you knew? Does Mom know?"

"Your Mom does not believe me, but she drinks vervain. That stops vampires from compulsion or basically mind control. There are some bad supernatural creatures that kill and others that don't. There's witches, werewolves and vampires. We are no longer the top of the food chain."

Grace got excited and asked,"Are we something cool? Like fairies?" They both chuckled, but Grace wanted an answer.

"Fairies do not exist. And we are cool, because we are human." Grace looked disappointed. They talked a bit about the supernatural and he gave her some vervain for her and Caroline. They also said to be careful around Elena and the Salvatore brothers.

Outside of school, Damon stops Caroline and using his powers of "persuasion", gets her to throw a party at the Mystic Grill that night. He also demands that she find a way to get the necklace back from Bonnie.

At the Mystic Grill, Caroline spots Bonnie and asks her about the necklace. Bonnie refuses to give it back. Grace saw Caroline at the party and gave her a big hug. Caroline was so relieved to have her there."So 911 sleepover tonight and no questions asked, wear this ring." Caroline looked at her confused, but did what she said.

Grace walked over to Damon and 'accidentally' walked into him. Grace said," I am so sorry. I am just a bit freaked out. I think my mind are playing some messed up tricks on me." Damon thought maybe she had remembered and compelled her to say what she saw. "Well, I think the bartender is a crazy person. He drank from a bloodbag in the ally." Damon then compelled her to forget about that and their conversation.

After finding out that Caroline could not get the necklace back and about the bartender, Damon steps out back of the Mystic Grill for some fresh air. Once out there, he overhears a couple heading off to a more private location to "make-out". Surprising them, the couple are shocked when Damon appears behind them. He grabs the man's neck and drains him of his blood. The girl begins to cry. Once he is finished, he erases her memory and plants a new one about the attack.

Back at the Mystic Grill, Damon comes across Elena spying on Stefan and Lexi. Knowing what she is thinking, he doesn't bother to try and clear up any misunderstanding she might have of their relationship. Elena does ask him about Jeremy. She wants to know what he did to Jeremy since Jeremy is acting different. He tells her that he did what she asked…"to take away his suffering". Elena knows deep down inside that Damon helped Jeremy out, but he won't admit it.

Sheriff Forbes is informed by another officer that a new victim of the Vampire has been discovered. Once she is on the scene, she notices that the girl is still alive and crying in the dark. She goes over to her and asks if she knows who did this. The girl says yes, and she stands up to help them find the vampire.

At the bar, Lexi confronts Damon and asks what he is really doing in Mystic Falls. His only answer is that "it's all part of his diabolical plan". Not understanding what he's talking about, Lexi knows he won't tell her the truth. Sheriff Forbes appears at the front entrance with the surviving victim to have her point out the Vampire. She points directly at the bartender.

Within seconds, he feels a needle in his side and realizes too late that it is a needle full of Verbena. They drag him out of the Mystic Grill without causing a scene. Lexi fled the scene as soon as she could. She was not planning on dying tonight.

Stefan and Elena follow and hide out to see what is going to happen. All of a sudden out of nowhere, Damon appears and drives a wooden stake through his heart. Sheriff Forbes comes over and thanks him for his help. She knows that if it wasn't for Damon, she would probably have been killed. Now, they think they have killed the Vampire everyone has been searching for.

Noah went to the Grill and he fetched the girls. Grace and Caroline were at Noah's house, getting ready for the sleepover. They got snacks and sat on the bed.

"So you know I got attacked by an animal the other day. It wasn't an animal. It was a vampire..." Caroline interrupted her with a screech,"Like from Twilight!"

Grace nodded her head and said,"Yes. Fangs in my neck and everything. So do not interrupt and I will tell you everything. Vampires drink blood from humans or bloodbags, they can control our minds with compulsion, so wear the ring. It has vervain, which stops that. They can walk in the sun with a spelled ring. The Salvatores are vampires. Oh... and werewolves and witches exist. I found this out recently and I want you to know and be safe."

Caroline hugged her and stated,"I am glad you're alive. You're my best friend in the world. You tell me everything and you are just always there when I need you. Are we going to be like Buffy from the Vampire Slayers?"

Grace laughed and said,"Absolutely... not. You might survive. But me...I run with a weapon and accidentally kill myself. Don't tell my parents if that happens."

The two girls laughed and enjoyed the rest of the night watching movies. Noah was glad the two cousin were close and hoped that their friendship stays like that.
