Colors of magenta, lilac and sunflower yellow are everywhere. The sky is illuminated by sheer darkness and white lights by the stars and full moon. The tall oak trees of the forest outside Shoreline are strung with red and orange lanterns everywhere filled with fake firelight. It smells like peonies and dandelions and salsa mixed with a bunch of other fresh foods.
It's finally spring and the students celebrate the end of winter with their annual Spring Party. Nearly every student at Shoreline is just right outside the borders and attending the party in the forest. They have a DJ stage set up somewhere playing music that even the animals have crawled away from - and students a massive wave of swaying bodies. There has to be at least twenty bonfires that rise as high as ten feet tall. There's multiple tables filled with food and party supplies, and some people have even brought out couches and other furniture to chill on. It's the one time of the year where they all get together and act mundane. Even the high school and younger students are out somewhere in the forest doing their own thing.
Izabel quickly strolls up back to Bree and hands her a red solo cup filled with whatever alcohol she found. "This is my favorite time of the year!" She gallantly smiles and then cheers her cup with Bree's. She grabs her hand and leads her through the fires and dancing individuals to meet up with their classmates.
Bree has always thought Izzy is gorgeous - and now she's reached a whole new level of goddess. Her long black hair falls in heatless waves past her waist, and neatly tied up into four sections on the top. Her dress is white, nearly transparent showing off sequins beneath, and ruffles right above her knees. It's a halter style and showing off intricate black designs of flowers, swirls and sunlight waves across her back. Her shoes are gladiator sandals, and her makeup is simple yet elegant, her eyeliner making her dark oceanic eyes pop even more, and her cheek bones are so defined it looks like someone airbrushed her face.
"Ladies," Chase drags out the 's' as his face grows into a wide grin, extending his muscular arms and wrapping it around the two girls shoulders.
"You're high," Izabel teases and pokes at his side causing his arm to slide off.
Chase laughs exposing all his teeth and keeps his other arm around Bree sending a wave of heat and excitement all throughout her body. "Eh screw it, one day ain't gonna hurt... plus Justin nearly begged me and he's pretty convincing," and then he laughs again. The slight hint of smoke still lingers on his clothing but his natural scent of spearmint outweighs it.
He's also dressed up, probably the most exotic outfit Bree's seen him in. His t-shirt is a dark brown and shredded at the collar fraying down into a very low V, there's holes neatly styled at the shoulders and in the back, and it exposes his chest muscles very well. She can see the Phoenix mark on him peeping out from his shirt. His pants are linen and a nice beige color that compliments the tan of his skin incredibly well. He's wearing his skull ring and a few other simple ones, and his neck covered in a silver chain with a cross that dangles between his collar bone, his dark hair is ruffled but seems to stay in place more than usual.
Bree giggles and takes a sip of her drink. Her face skews up and has to force herself to not spit out the liquid. "What the hell is this?"
Izabel laughs teasingly and Chase slings his arm off her to face her, his body squared to hers. Unconsciously she hands it towards him and he takes a sip... and then immediately spits it out. "Ew that's straight vodka. Izzy loves Platinum," and then exaggerates his face by sticking his tongue out. His emerald eyes seem to gaze up and down her body for a moment and she can see the edges of his lips curl into a smile.
Bree silently thanks Izzy for getting her dressed. Somehow the gorgeous girl convinced her to put body glitter on her shoulders and collarbone. She's wearing a strapless pastel green baby doll dress that sways by her thighs. Because she has no markings yet she decorated her arms with gold bangles, some on her biceps and some freely dangly on her skinny wrists. Her hair is styled in curls and neatly bouncing below her breast, some of it braided to make a nice crown around her head. And her boots are a dark brown and platformed making her slightly taller and come halfway up her calves. Even her eye makeup and highlight are glittery, her lips coated in a sultry dark pink and brows fluffy.
