Sebastian Ritcher is a patient man. He's waited nearly 600 years for his escape from his prison, from Tartarus and the entire Omega dimension. But he states he's growing impatient now. He has all the pieces to complete his plan, and now he's putting it into action. Moments before he appeared to the girls back in New York, he's set his chest pieces, pawns, in place. And just like in chest, one always plays with a game plan in mind, and Sebastian hates loosing.
He's coming for Valencia. The entire city is eerily silent and not much movement is going on after the get together in the Royal Capital. All of Valencia is borders the Sea of Terror, which is an ocean of endlessness. It's the one thing that connects all magic dimensions to one another and is said to be impossible to travel upon. It's like a broken mirror, broken in fragments and each fragment is a portal to another dimension. Demons and all sorts of creatures have found a home in the dangerous waters and constantly swimming in and out of the magic realms.
Today, the Sea of Terror strikes. Chase, Ryder and their whole group is lounging on a hill top overlooking the sea. They're the first people to witness what's to come. Just as Moses parted the Red Sea, the Sea of Terror seems to sink down the middle, eventually sinking so deep it mimics a parting.
"Uh, what's happening?" Lacey is officially the first one to notice the difference and is pointing a finger to the sea.
The water is spilt down the middle and one can visibly see the waves falling into one another. As their group stares, it doesn't take long for the insanely large spikes to poke out of the water. A sense of fear washes over all of them, including Chase. The spikes slowly manifest a body, a body that can twist and turn and coil. Even from multiple hundreds of feet away, this body looks huge; taller than a skyscraper and as wide as three school buses put side by side. The body quickly forms a head, a monstrous head with six rows of razor sharp teeth and a mane of more spikes coming out in all sorts of directions. Its eyes are an ethereal looking transparent blue with sparkles of red and black in them.
"Leviathan," Chase whispers and immediately rushes to his feet.
This monster, Leviathan, isn't alone. A single red headed girl is riding on top of its head, and both are making their way to the shore of Celestway. Leviathan is the embodiment of chaos, one of the seven Princes of Hell representing envy. Both this creature and Asmodeus were the only two princes who weren't sealed in their own realms during the Holy War. Both have been quiet and un-bothersome until now, and the students don't doubt for a second that Sebastian has something to do with their reappearance.
"Ryder, go warn Arthur and tell him to sound the alarms," Chase orders. "This devil is a lot bigger and probably stronger than Asmodeus, if we don't stop him this is the end of Valencia," his body remains still as he tries to plan out what to do. But for the first time in his entire life he doesn't have a single clue on how to defeat an enemy.
Ryder doesn't argue or say another word, instead he uses his super speed to race to the castle to let Arthur know that Leviathan is coming. When he's gone Izabel parts her lips and continues to stare at Leviathan coming closer and closer. "We barely held our own against Asmodeus, what the hell are we supposed to do now?" Despite her fear, she too stands up to her feet.
It's a foreign feeling for this group to feel any sense of doubt or fear, it's so foreign that they've never trained or thought of what to do in a moment these emotions might come. The entire group is looking towards Chase, as somewhere in the past few years they've determined him to be the strongest, and then the leader position slowly followed. Each of them rise to their feet now, one by one, as the monstrous sea serpent is only about a minute away from reeking pure chaos.
