Kingdom Hearts: Wrong Turn: Bloody Beginnings

Chapter 9

In Dr. Campbell's office, the heroes are all sleeping, except for Sora. He's keeping watch, just in case if something happens. As he keeps watch, his mind starts going into all the deaths he has seen. His eyelids shake as he now hears the voices and screams of the victims, and the roars, screeches, and evil laughs of the villains. He grunts, and clutches his head. Claire's choking, and Daniel's screams echo in his mind too. He shakes his head at this. He looks at Kai, who is sleeping by Momo, who holds him close. He's glad to see that he's alive, but can't shake the feeling of what would have happened if they killed him too.

Sora: (Panting) Please, not now...We've got them trapped. (Sighs) I should probably go check on Kyle. 

He stands up, and walks to the door. Kairi opens her eyes, and sees him.

Kairi: Sora, where are you going?

Sora: I'm gonna go check on Kyle. To see if he's all right. Somebody is probably gonna go relieve of his shift. 

Kairi: (Looks at him, sighs) Be careful. 

Sora: I will. You too. I love you.

Kairi: I love you too.

Sora walks out of the office, and Kairi gets up, and locks the door behind him. Sora walks down the hall to go downstairs. As he's about to go to the hall that leads downstairs, the lights in the whole place turn off with a clang. Sora gasps, and looks around. 

Sora: Oh, jeez. (Panting) 

Just then, someone tabs his shoulder, making him jump. He turns, and sees Kenia. She gasps.

Kenia: Oh, gosh. Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. 

Sora: Kenia, don't do that. 

Kenia: I'm sorry. 

Sora: (Sighs) What happened to the lights?

Kenia: It's only the generator. It ran out of fuel. 

Sora: What are we gonna do now?

Kenia: Let's go and see if Kyle is okay.

They both walk off to go downstairs. They carefully and cautiously walking down the steps, watching every corner. Without the lights, it'll be impossible to see things in the dark. Kenia is breathing ragged as she shines her flashlight around. Sora is panting as he looks around. Just then, something clatter, making them both jump.

Kenia: Oh, gosh! 

Sora: Just come on. 

They walk down to where the cells are. They both look around, and don't see Kyle anywhere. Sora keeps his keyblade up as he keeps watch. 

Kenia: Kyle? Kyle? Gosh. Kyle?

Sora: Kyle? Are you there? It's us. Kyle? 

There's no answer. As they walk in further, their eyes widen as they see the cell is opened, and it's empty, meaning that they're out. Kenia gasps in horror. 

Kenia: Oh, shoot! Crap. Oh, gosh.

Sora: Oh, no! No! Kenia, warn your friends! I'll warn my friends!

Kenia: Ok! Hurry!

They both run out of there to get back upstairs, so they can warn the others. They run upstairs without running into any of the cannibals. And luckily, there's no Heartless around. Sora runs to the office door while Kenia runs to the other. Sora pounds on the door. 

Sora: Guys, guys! It's me! Hurry! Let me in! Open the door! Hurry!

The heroes all wake up, and they all rush to the door. Kairi unlocks it, and lets him in. Sora then closes the door and locks it.
