Part 10

The past few days has been very wonderful for Y/N as he gets to spend more time with his mom from strolling through the streets together to having meals with her and the aespa girls every day.

Another good news is that the CEO gave the green light for Y/N to debut on stage due to the overwhelming demand from the fans as he managed to perform in front of the fans and mainly, in front of his mom. Safe to say, aespa's fame continued to grow with his addition making the CEO himself satisfied with his decision. But of course being famous has its consequences.

Y/N POV

Currently I am at the airport with Winter and Karina noona to send off my mom. It was a very memorable week for me thanks to my lovely noonas for making this happen.

I made sure to give my mom a big hug before we parted ways. Winter noona who was basically my mom's new daughter also gave her a hug and even gifts for her back at home. We waved at her as she passed the gates while Winter noona of course started crying.

"I'm going to miss her" Winter sobbed while wiping her tears with a tissue.

"Is she Y/N's mother or Minjeong's?" Karina noona then said as we laughed.

"Hahahah I'm sure she'll miss you too Minjeong noona" I wrapped my arms around Winter noona's shoulders and headed back to our car where manager noona was waiting.

"Let's go now. We don't want to attract any fans from your sobs" Karina noona joked as I guide Winter noona to the car.

Giselle and Ningning noona had a schedule today thats why they couldn't come with. They were pretty disappointed with it but they didn't forget to bid their farewells as well.

"I'll be sending both Jimin and Minjeong home before me and Y/N go to his schedule ok" Manager noona said as soon as we got in the vehicle, driving away as soon as possible.

"Awww can't we join you guys? I want to be with Y/N-ie" Karina noona pouted while looking at me.

"Don't you guys have anything better to do? It'll just make you guys bored waiting for Y/N" Manager noona then told her honestly.

"Min........jeong?" Karina tried to ask Winter to back her up but she was just staring out the window like someone who had just went through a breakup with her puffy eyes. "Never mind we'll head back home then" Karina noona defeated by her comrade's spirit making us all laugh. Winter noona is really funny without even trying.

"It's ok noona. You don't have to be there for me all the time" I chuckled.

"But you're still our baby" She responded like I am not a grown man. The way the noonas has treated me on screen and off screen shows how much they really care for me. It's fun being the maknae of a group, even though I am the one taking care of them most if the times.

"Aish stop that. I'm not a baby" I refused her remark as she smirked.

"Whatever you say baby~"

After sending the noonas home, me and manager noona went on ahead to my schedule where I had a photoshoot to attend to for Dior. Yes I was appointed as their newest ambassador within my first week of debut which caused mixed reactions within the industry.

Arriving at the destination, I had my makeup done and outfits as the photoshoot proceeded. To my surprise, I met NewJeans' Haerin who was my partner for today's photoshoot.

"Oh hello Y/N sunbae– wait are you even my sunbaenim?" Haerin greeted me as she pondered cutely.

"Hello" I bowed and greeted her back. "To be honest I don't know. I think you're my sunbae, I just debuted right" I chuckled.

"Oh yeah that's true" She laughed showing her cat features. "Oh forget the formalities, is it ok if I just call you oppa?" She smiled as I gave her one back.

"Sure" I agreed with her as the director of the photoshoot suddenly arrived, introducing himself and asking us to get in position afterwards.

Haerin may be younger than me but she's clearly more experienced in this kind of things as she helped me a lot throughout the session which made it easier for me. After we were done with our schedule, we eventually exchanged number. Somehow our chemistry was natural it felt comfortable and fun to be around her, we had the same quiet energy.

Heading back home, I heard loud footsteps coming from the dorm. It seemed like someone is running around the house as I chuckled knowing that Karina noona will get mad at that person.

Opening the door, it was Karina noona who was running around looking terrified. She immediately jumped on me when she saw me.

"Oh my! noona what are you doing?!" I asked her who is currently clinging on my body like the floor is lava.

"Y/N!! There's something under the couch!!" She exclaimed. As if on cue, that 'something' came out from the couch.

"Oh it's a cockroach" I laughed at my terrified leader.

"Ewww ewwww please throw it away. Please please Y/N~. The others are locked in their rooms leaving me to dispose it by myself like I could do it" Karina noona whined while still in my arms showing clear disgust on her face.

"Fine~ fine~" I tried to put her down on the floor to kill the cockroach as she refused.

"Nooo!! Put me down there!!" She pointed towards the dining table as I sighed and placed her down on the chair like a princess.

I took a random slipper from the shoe rack and whacked the cockroach in one blow.

"Done" I shrugged my shoulders, looking at my leader who was currently standing on the chair. (🧍🏻‍♀️)

"Yayyy you're the best Y/N!!" She then jumped down from the chair, celebrating.

"Oh wait noona it's still alive!!" I teased her as she jumped back on the chair screaming. "I'm just kidding" I laughed making her mad at me.

"Yahh! Come here you" She chased after me as I ran away avoiding her whacks.

"Minjeong noona help me!! There's a giant cockroach chasing mee" I called out for Winter noona who just got out of her room knowing that the threat is already gone.

The day went on as usual as Y/N and the girls casually spend their free time in their dorm.

The photoshoot photos of Y/N came out later, showing his chemistry with NewJeans' Haerin which the fans seem to love and even giving them the name 'Kang Siblings'.
