Part 9

After a few months of hard work and practicing nonstop. The day of Y/N's debut was coming close. The album (Armageddon) consists of 10 songs with him involved in like half of them and even helping in producing and writing the lyrics of the songs. He made a big contribution to the comeback, which made the company satisfied with his performance and talent.

Y/N POV

We were given two days to rest up before we start our promotion on the release day itself.

The girls spent their rest with their family while I just stay at the dorm watching movies. The members also didn't forget to include me in their very short vacation as they all brought me gifts of various things like hoodies, snacks, perfumes and even teddy bears.

Then the day of the comeback came as the company arranged a live session for us to reveal the songs together with our fans or in other words, my first official appearance as aespa's new member.

"Hello MYs" Welcome our dear MYs" The girls greeted the fans as the live stream started. I had to watch from the sides as it was still not the time for me to be introduced.

"How was the album?" Winter noona asked the fans as the chat section became flooded with positive comments and even asking to reveal Y/N.

"New member? Huh what are you talking about?" Ningning noona joked reading the comments.

"Wow ok the fans really want to see Y/N now. I guess you're all here for him huh" Giselle noona scoffed as everyone laughed at her sarcasm. It was true, the chat was filled with Y/N's name.

"Alrighty then. We're finally back with our new full album. And without further ado, introducing our newest member" Karina noona made drumroll sounds. "S/N (Stage Name)!!" The girls then cheered as I joined them, revealing myself to the fans.

"Introduce yourself Jagi" Karina noona said as I stood there not knowing what to do from being too nervous.

"Oh yeah. Hello everyone. My name is Kang Y/N or also known as S/N" I waved and greeted the fans as the chat section became flooded with fangirls going crazy for Y/N to the point that it can't be read with how fast the comments are coming in.

"Whoa whoa slow down guys. I can't even catch a word from the chat" Giselle noona laughed watching the fans' reaction.

"Please give him a lot of love as you gave to us MYs" Winter noona then added. The comment section suddenly was filled with hearts of various colours.

"But don't love him too much. He's ours ok?" Karina cracked a joke making everyone laugh from her antics.

"Come on say something Y/N" Ningning noona then encouraged me to speak up.

"Uhh......" I was thinking on what to say which luckily the noonas helped me afterwards, asking me various questions.

"How do you feel on debuting as the newest member of aespa?" Giselle noona asked me while acting like an emcee.

"It feels great! Other than their annoying behaviour, they're pretty fun to be around with. I really look forward on working with the noonas more" I joked while being immersed in the interview act.

"Yah!" Karina noona's voice could be heard from behind as laughter came once again.

"Hehe I'm just kidding. You're the best noona" I gave her a finger heart.

We grew a lot closer from being together for a while and this kind of jokes are getting normal for us by now.

The whole stream was smooth as we listen to the new songs with the fans together. Commenting the background process of making the song, describing the vibes and all. Throughout the live stream, I was busy answering the fans' questions mostly about me.

Before we head back home after the event, manager noona told us to stay for a moment as she had a surprise for us.

While we wait, I noticed the girls looked like they had an idea on what was happening as I stared at them in confusion.

"Is there something you guys would like to share with me?" I asked them as they giggled.

"Nope hehehe" "You'll find out yourself" The noonas said making me more curious.

"Come onn. Aeri noona? Don't tell me you're on their side" I turned to Giselle noona who is known as my most trusted noona.

"Sorry Y/N~ I can't back you up on this one hehe" Giselle noona also giggled. I just sighed in defeat and just waited for manager noona to show up herself.

Manager noona was somehow taking her time so I decided to go on my phone and played a game that Karina noona suggested to me last time.

Then the door opens as manager noona finally got here. I tried to play it cool as I just continued playing my game, not even looking at her.

"Y/N-ie we have a special surprise for you" She then said as I raised my head from my phone to look at her. Then a head slowly popped out of the door revealing the one person that I have missed most. My mom.

"Hi dear~" My mom smiled as I remain frozen for a moment and then quickly dropped my phone and ran towards her to give her the biggest hug that I have been holding ever since I got here.

"I've missed you mom..." My grip on her got tighter as I started to finally tear up. This was the first time the aespa noonas saw me cry making them moved by the reunion.

"I've missed you more my dear. I'm so proud of you" My mom caressed my head and after a few minutes we finally let go of the hug as I got a thousand questions currently.

"H-how?" I said and then scanned the room as the aespa noonas were smiling widely. "Don't tell me you guys did this for me?" I asked them and they all nodded.

And just like that, I cried again thinking how thoughtful they are towards me and that I am forever grateful for them.

"Awww don't cry" "it's making me cry too" "Oh no I'm getting emotional too" "Oh my oh my" The aespa noonas cooed me as they all approached me for a group hug.

"T-thank you guys. I-i don't know what to say"

"You deserve this Y/N. This is the least we can do for you" Ningning noona smiled at me.

Apparently the girls planned this months ago, asking manager noona for the info and all as they willingly agreed to sponsor a flight and place to stay for Y/N's mother.

Letting go of the hug with the girls, I looked at my mom again, still can't believe is this real or not as I gave my mom another hug.

"Aigoo look at this cry baby~ Don't worry dear I will be here for the entire week" My mom chuckled as the girls laughed except for Winter noona who was also crying with me.

"Omo omo why are you crying too dear" My mom laughed and dragged Winter noona for a hug too as she joined me and my mom's hug. "What a cutie you are" My mom rubbed her back.

It was a funny how Winter noona ended up crying with me and ending up joining our hug as it made me laugh too while still crying.

Letting go of the hug and wiping my tears away while Winter noona was still in my mom's arms, I asked my mom.

"Are you going to be there for my debut stage?" I asked as she nodded making me more happier.

"Plus she's also getting VIP seats for our stage performances" Karina noona added.

"Yeap now I can finally see you on stage dear. This has been what you wanted right?" My mom caressed my cheeks as she said that to me while giving me a warm smile.

I could only nod to her as I couldn't speak up from being too happy.

Meanwhile manager noona got nervous hearing that as she was still hesitant on Y/N's debut on stage due to the CEO still not giving a concrete decision.

"Come on Y/N! We're having dinner with your mom!"
