Y/N POV

"Speak of the devil" I said after looking at my phone to see Karina noona calling me.

I purposely stalled to pick up the call to tease her. Chuckling by myself, I then picked up the call after a few moments.

"Hel—"

"JAGIYAA!!" Karina noona literally screamed, interrupting my hello.

"Cal—" My words got cut off again.

"I miss yeww. How was your day? Can we switch to video call? I want to see your face. Oh and my mom said hi" She said all that in a span of a second.

"First off, hello too noona" I calmly said and then switched the call to a video call revealing my beautiful noona in pyjamas, laying in her bed. "It hasn't even been a day you left" I chuckled.

"I know~ You know I can only sleep in your arms" She pouted resulting me to scoff at her antics.

"My bed finally feels spacious" I teased her.

"Yahh don't you miss me?" She pouted again.

"Nope, I can finally sleep in peace now" I said making her show me a fist.

"Just you wait when I get home soon. I'll show you how 'peaceful' it is" Karina noona said in a childish tone.

"Hahaha I'm just kidding noona~ the dorm is quite gloomy without you here. So what about you? How was your day?" I kinda missed her a little bit.

She then talked about her day which lasted for about 10-15 minutes. She was yapping nonstop, her voice gradually getting softer due to her being sleepy until she starts mumbling.

The call ended up to be a snoring ASMR as I chuckled by myself and ended the call after saying goodnight to no answer.

*Timeskip*

The short break has finally ended and everyone got back to the dorm after spending quality time with their families and friends. As for me, I as usual spent most of my time at the dorm playing my PC.

Haerin and Karina noona were the ones that kept disturbing my gaming session with their random call sessions and chats.

I haven't even woke up yet but I already felt something pressing on me in bed. Slowly opening my eyes, it was Karina noona laying on top of me with a wide smile as if she was waiting for me to wake up.

"Good morning Jagiya" She energetically said.

"Good morning" I groggily said and continued to sleep while hugging her tight instinctively. I was still sleepy that time and hugging something to sleep was the cherry on top for a lazy morning.

Karina noona just accepted it even though she wasn't sleepy at all, she didn't move a muscle. Suddenly I heard the door slowly opening as it made a creaking sound.

"Heyy! I want one too!" It was Winter noona who had just arrived.

"I'll give you one later" I answered her with a lazy tone.

"Hmmpph! You better! Now wake up cause manager unnie is also here" She cutely said as she went out of the room.

"Hehe you heard her. Come on get up now" Karina noona ordered.

"Mhmm"

After a solid minute, I got up half awake after Karina noona had already went out.

"Good morning sleepyhead" Manager noona greeted me.

"Goodmowning newna" I greeted her back while brushing my teeth as I head to the kitchen to wash off the toothpaste off my mouth.

We all then sat in the living room, waiting for the last member Ningning to wake up.

"Haish where is this girl.. Can you go wake her up Aeri?" Manager noona then ordered Giselle as she proceeded to go into Ningning's room.

After a few minutes, the sleeping beauty finally woke up as she squeezed to sit beside me on the one-person couch while resting her head on my shoulders still sleepy.

"Alright now that everyone is here, let me announce something" Manager noona said which somehow seems to sound scary.

"Our Y/N-ie here" She paused and faced me making my heartbeat faster. "Will be debuting his first ever solo!" Manager noona then clapped as everyone followed suit with squealing sounds.

I was too stunned to even say a word while staring at my noonas with my jaw drop.

"Congratulations Y/N-iee!" Ningning noona who was beside me said as she hugged me.

"Our baby is all grown up now" Karina noona fake cried.

"Waaaaaa I'm so excited for this!!" Winter noona next up with the encouragement.

"Daebak!" Giselle noona also speechless like me as she could only clap.

But little did they know that this was part of the departing plan of Y/N from aespa. The company finds it hard to cope with the stress and pressure from the fans with Y/N in the group. They were receiving boycotts and threats here and there to the point that they've had enough of it. Thus the solo Y/N plan if everything goes well.

"But wait a minute unnie..." Karina found out about something. "Aren't we also preparing for a comeback" She questioned the decision.

"Oh yeah that's right! Won't that be too tiring for Y/N?" Giselle followed up.

"About that.......He won't be participating on this comeback" Manager noona then said resulting everyone to be shocked.

"WHAT?!?" "NO WAY!" "WHY?" The 4 noonas exclaimed as I just stayed silent there not knowing what to do.

"You're kidding right unnie?" Karina then asked again to confirm the madness she had just heard.

"I'm not unfortunately... I was also shocked when the team informed me about this" Manager noona honestly said.

Ningning who was beside me then stared at me with puppy eyes, feeling bad for me.

"It's ok noona. You wouldn't want me to be too tired right?" I reasoned to them with a white lie.

"B-but aespa is not aespa without Y/N.." Winter who was already starting to cry said.

The room suddenly turned silent. Everyone still shocked from the sudden news, not knowing how to react.

"I mean.. we would still be promoting together right? Thats if the date is the same though" I tried to break the silence.

"Yeah it's the same I think. The song release is just a few days apart" Manager noona said but somehow the mood is still the same.

Winter then stood up immediately as she ran to her room. Everyone could only watch her with their spirits also down.

"I'll go talk to her" I decided to be the one to do something.
