Y/N POV

Next day came, we were given a short break from the hectic schedule that we had this past few days. Karina noona and Winter noona were heading home to their families while the rest of us stayed.

"Any plans today Y/N?" Giselle noona asked me while we had breakfast at the quiet dining room.

"Yeah do you have any friends that you can spend your time with here?" Ningning noona continued.

They were genuinely worried about leaving me alone at the dorm.

"Hmm I do have a few.... but....." I hesitated for a while.

"Yeah we get it. You're shy~" Giselle noona laughed at my introverted self.

"Hahahaha you're so cute Y/N. As much as I want to spend the day with you but I really can't" Ningning noona pouted, she was occupied for the day as her parents came to Korea to spend time with her.

"It's ok noona. I'm fine staying at the dorm alone. This is pretty normal to me haha"

"Aish no I can't accept it. Give me your phone" Giselle noona then extended her hand as I gave her my phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked her in confusion as to why she needed my phone.

"Making plans for you duhh" She replied while scrolling through my contacts list.

"Wow you really do have a few friends" She continued after looking through my contacts. "Let's see... you have NewJeans' Haerin.... Redve— Irene unnie?!?" She exclaimed as Ningning noona also jolted out of her seat to confirm it with her eyes.

"How the heck do you have Irene unnie's contact?" The both of them shocked by it.

"Oh she texts me from time to time. Congratulating and sometimes just for a quick chat" I told them with a nonchalant face.

"Ok.... so do you want to hangout with her?" Ningning noona chuckled.

"I don't think she'd be available though. She's preparing for her comeback" I said once again making them shocked.

"She's having a comeback?!? Don't tell me she told you this info herself?" Giselle noona asked.

"She did. I told you we text each other from time to time" I shrugged.

"Whoaa you got game Y/N. She's even sharing secrets with you" Giselle noona scoffed.

"So ok that leaves you with NewJeans's Haerin. Do you like her?" Ningning noona asked immediately.

"Like her? I mean as a friend yes" I got flustered by her question.

"I don't mean it like that dummy" She laughed. "Would you like to hangout with her? It's better than you rotting in this dorm"

"Uhm I guess?"

"Ok so it's set. Go text her" Giselle noona then passed me back my phone.

"Why are you guys forcing me to do this?" I questioned their motive behind all this effort.

"You need to go outside and socialise rather than being all alone the entire time dude" Giselle noona said in english while Ningning noona just nodded beside her.

"Jeeezz finee~" I did what they told as I texted Haerin who I haven't contacted for a long time already.

Luckily Haerin was free today and that's how our surprise hangout happened. I grabbed my car keys and told her that I'd picked her up at her dorm in a few minutes.

"Stay safe and be careful out there Y/N-ie~" Ningning noona said as I headed towards the door.

"Just act casual and don't attract too much attention" Giselle noona continued.

"I will. Bye noona see you guys later" I bid them farewell and went on my way.

I drove immediately after receiving the address given by Haerin which was about 10-15 minutes away from our dorm.

Arriving at the location, I saw a girl with a baggy outfit wearing a beanie waiting in front of the building.

"That must be her" I thought to myself and stopped the car in front of her.

Luckily it was really her as she looked at me carefully at first and then a smile formed on her face after confirming it to be me.

"Hiii Oppa~ It has been a while" She gave me a little hug after entering the car.

"It really has been a while Haerin-ie" I immediately felt happy by her presence. Maybe Giselle and Ningning noona was right about this, this is better than staying in my dorm.

"So what's the plan?" She then asked me.

"You hungry?" I asked her back as she nodded cutely. "Alright so let's find a place to eat first and then we'll figure out our next move"

"Ooo making plans on the go. I like it" She chuckled as she fasten her seat belt.

I brought her to a place where me and my noonas always eat which is pretty secluded and the workers won't make a fuss over an idol.

We then ordered our food and enjoyed it peacefully while sharing little chats about or life lately.

"Me and the noonas like to eat here, it's safe and quiet but the food is not that great though" I told her after we had finished eating.

"What do you mean? It's good!" She gave a thumbs up making me laugh at her.

"Of course it's good, you eat almost everything" I chuckled as she gave me her kitty smile.

"So any idea on our next plan?" I asked her after paying for our food.

"Hmmm ooh ice creamm!" She excitedly said. "And we can enjoy it while strolling around the park nearby!" She sounds so genuine about it.

"Sounds like a plan" A smile formed on my face looking at her happy face.
