After eating at the restaurant with Haerin, we went out to get some ice cream at a convenience store and proceeded to head over to the park which was nearby. It was past lunchtime so the amount of people there wouldn't be too much.

"How many ice creams did you bought?" Haerin laughed at me after looking at my plastic bag full of ice cream (I bought 6)

"Hey I like ice cream ok. Especially in this weather" I scoffed as she laughed again.

We ended up sharing the ice cream equally among ourselves.

"Told you the ice cream was good" I smirked at her for laughing at me buying a lot.

"Really. I thought one was enough" She said in disbelief as she finished her third stick of ice cream.

"Oppa look!!" Haerin then suddenly pointed towards something excitedly. It was a stall that sells huge bubbles while bubbles float around the stall. She's so cute when she's excited.

"You really are like a kid" I chuckled as she continues to dance to their song 'Bubble Gum'.

"Come on let's go!" She pulled my arms as we head towards the bubble stall.

While she was enjoying the bubbles, I took candid photos of her playing with the bubbles with genuine reactions. She then realised it and got embarrassed by it.

"Oppa.... don't do that" She suddenly changed and approached me while looking at the ground.

"Huh? Why? What happened?" I didn't know what was going on as I looked around.

"I..... my heart fluttered when you did that.." She said while still looking at the ground.

"What do you—" I got cut off by her.

"Ahh I'm so embarrassed right now~" Haerin cutely said while covering her face with her hands. "My face is probably red right now"

I just laughed at her antics as she laughed too but still covering her face.

"Ok ok let's head back to my car and figure out our next move before you attract more people here hahaha" I dragged her by pulling her arm sleeves (she was still covering her face)

"People would think you're crying right now with me pulling you like this" I got a little bit worried.

"Put your arms around my shoulder then" Haerin scoffed voice appeared which I pretend to not hear.

"What was it?"

"Put your arms around me" She opened a little bit of her hands to let out a clearer voice where I saw her very red face.

"Yah you look like a tomato now" I laughed as I wrapped my hands around her shoulders. The constant tease made her head-butt my chest.

"Ahahah okok my bad my bad. I'll stop the teasing now" We were approaching my car already as I opened the door for her to enter.

After a few minutes of trying to cool her down, we decided to hangout at my dorm which took only a few minutes to reach.

It's weird to see this side of Haerin where she's more active. She's usually quiet and observant but here she is singing and vibing to the radio carelessly.

"Waaa this place is nice and cozy!" Haerin said upon entering my dorm like an amused cat.

"There's no one home right now so make yourself comfortable. Imma go get some refreshments from the kitchen" I informed Haerin as she nodded while taking a seat.

We watched a random series on the TV when suddenly Haerin's phone started to ring.

"Oh? It's Hanni unnie. Wait a moment oppa" She picked up the call and walked a few steps away from me.

After a few minutes, she came back.

"Uhmm oppa..." She hesitantly called me after the phone call.

"Can I borrow you for a moment?" She asked making me confused by her choice of words.

"Borrow?" I furrowed my brows.

"Oh what I mean is can you help me back at my dorm" She rephrased her words.

"Ahhh yeah sure. Now?" I said as she nodded cutely. "Let's go then" We then headed out to NewJeans' dorm.

I didn't even bother asking what she needed help on as I pretty much didn't care.

"Hanni unnie said she needed help on building something. She didn't told me the full details though" Haerin said while we were on our way.

Arriving at their dorm, I was greeted by the hyperactive Hanni and Minji.

"Hi Y/N....sunbaenim?" Hanni confused on our status as sunbaes.

"Hii nice to finally meet you!" Minji extended her arms as we shook our hands.

"Hello nice to meet you guys too. Don't worry I also don't know who's the sunbae here so let's just cut the formalities" I told them as we all laughed.

"Our Haerin-ie here doesn't go out often~ and with someone? That's very rare, so there must be something special about you oppa" Minji said as she wrapped her arms around the embarrassed Haerin's shoulder.

"Yeaa~ No wonder she never stop talking about you" Hanni continued the teasing as she smirked.

"Talk about me? I wonder what she told you guys" I teasingly side eyed Haerin who was as red as tomato already.

"O-oh unnie what did you needed help on? Y/N oppa here is busy so we're lucky that he's willing to free his time to help you" Haerin rushingly dragged Hanni.

"Is it true?" Minji mouthed the words to me as the two of her members were ahead as I shook my head making her scoff.

As we headed our way towards Hanni's room, there I saw a box in the middle of her room.
