Y/N POV

The concept of a "peaceful morning" does not exist in the aespa dormitory.

My eyes were still glued shut, heavy with sleep, my body trapped in the warm, comfortable prison of blankets and a very clingy Yoo Jimin. Her arm was draped over my chest, her leg thrown over mine, effectively pinning me to the mattress. It was heaven.

Until hell broke loose.

"WAKE UP! THE SUN IS UP! THE BIRDS ARE SINGING! AND I AM STARVING!"

Something heavy and bony landed on my stomach.

"Oof!" I groaned, the air leaving my lungs.

I cracked one eye open to see Winter standing over me, bouncing on the mattress like it was a trampoline. She was already fully dressed in a cute oversized hoodie and sweatpants, looking far too energetic for 7:00 AM.

"Noonaaaa," I wheezed. "Get off. You're crushing my internal organs."

"Your organs are fine! My stomach is empty!" She bounced again. "Manager unnie is here in twenty minutes! I need toast! I need eggs! I need that special coffee you make!"

Beside me, the lump under the duvet groaned. A hand shot out from beneath the covers and blindly swatted at Winter's leg.

"Go away, you gremlin," Karina's muffled voice came from the pillow. "Let me sleep with the baby."

"He's not a baby, he's our personal chef!" Winter argued, grabbing my arm and pulling. "Up! Up! Up!"

I sighed, realizing resistance was futile. I gently peeled Karina's arm off me—which earned a whine of protest—and sat up, rubbing my face.

"Okay, okay. I'm up. Stop assaulting me."

Winter cheered and hopped off the bed. "Two eggs, sunny side up! Don't break the yolk or I cry!" She zoomed out of the room.

I looked down at Karina, who had now rolled into the empty spot I left, burying her face in my pillow.

"Noona," I whispered, poking her cheek. "You have schedule today. Music Bank interview."

"Don't wanna," she mumbled. "Want to stay here with Y/N. Want to boycott."

"If you boycott, Manager Noona will literally drag you by your ankles," I laughed, smoothing her messy hair. "Come on. I'll make you the strawberry milk."

One eye opened. "With the extra syrup?"

"With the extra syrup."

"Fine." She sat up, her hair sticking up in every direction like a mad scientist. She looked at me, pouted, and then leaned forward to press her forehead against chest. "I hate mornings without you coming with us."

"I know," I smiled sadly. "Go wash up. I'll start the feed."

The Kitchen

By the time I had the eggs sizzling in the pan, the kitchen was a war zone of activity.

Giselle was sitting at the island, applying lip gloss while trying to memorize Japanese lines for a broadcast. Ningning was scrolling through TikTok at max volume, laughing maniacally every five seconds. And Winter was staring at the toaster like she could use telekinesis to make the bread pop faster.

"Here," I slid a plate of eggs and toast in front of Winter.

"Marry me," she said instantly, digging in.

"Get in line," Karina said, walking into the kitchen looking much more like an idol and less like a static electricity victim. She grabbed the strawberry milk I prepared and took a long sip. "Perfect."
