Robby was found by Daniel...but he was arrested and taken in to have a shorter sentence. Apparently, it was the "safer" way. You were so worried over how scared and betrayed he must be from Daniel. He's probably seen horrors just to eat or sleep, and now he's going to jail? You could only hope that there was a way to see him, just for a bit of closure.
Miles had attempted to try and make light of the situation. In a few weeks, you'd be able to see him again, and there's always (limited) ways to contact him in jail. You just had to wait and hopefully ask Sam if she knew the email address.
Speaking of Sam, she had invited you to visit Miguel in the hospital, as he had woke up from the coma. That was good news, and you felt guilt about the fact he was in that state. You told your mother about it, who said to give a hundred out of condolences as you and Miles were making a card.
Miles helping make the card was the only thing he knew what was appropriate rather than visiting. And it looked neat, better than the store bought card. Your mother wrote a check to put between the card, and you sealed it in an envelope right when Sam's car arrived at your house.
"Hey, who was that boy peeking out from the window waving at you?" Sam asked once you two were in the car. Your eyes widened, well, it had to come out some time.
The car ride was a bit surprising for Sam, but she was happy for you that your family was slowly piecing back together. And you had the same feeling about it. You were truly happy you got to reunite with your mom, and was glad she and Miles were out of their situation.
"Are you nervous to be seeing Miguel?" You ask.
Sam sighed. "Yes, I am. I feel so bad for what happened to him, and it was my fault that I did that at the party, I was so stupid."
"If anything, Tory escalated it further. And to be fair, both of you had your fair share of drinking that night," you tell her. "Not that drinking excuses it at all. Just saying...it shouldn't have ended like this."
"You're right, I just hope Miguel is okay." Sam wished as you found the hospital room of Miguel's. He looked miserable on the hospital bed, lost in a deep thought. It only hurt more knowing Robby was the one who made him like that.
Sam took a deep breath by the doorway. "Hey," she spoke. Miguel turned to see the two of you, surprised to see either of you.
"Hey." Miguel replied.
Sam walked further inside, and you slowly followed.
"I hope it's okay just showing up like this." Sam hoped. "How are you?" She stupidly asked. You tried to hide your smile as Miguel looked dumbfounded. "I mean...I'm sorry. It's a stupid question," she stammered.
