Sam was the first person you told about after you drove home and ran in your room, locking it. You were rambling to her on the phone as you were filing your nails, it was basically a sleepover over the phone! You were still so baffled over the whole thing, your mind was still stirring around about Robby, and you hated it. Robby seemed to be much more over you than you were over him when he left you there at the skatepark.

Nonetheless, everyone still had karate practice for the All Valley. You wanted to focus on winning, at least to distract yourself from Robby for the meantime. It was a ridiculously high stake in your opinion, but you needed a distraction.

You were getting ready to meet Miles by the door as he was waiting for you on the couches. You had your bag and snacks ready. The only flaw was that you looked like shit, because you felt like shit! You could see yourself in the mirror and see the visible change ever since the school fight. Something has changed within you, because your relationship with Robby had shifted too.

Still, you had to move on. You needed to go to practice, win the All Valley...and then ignore Robby for as long as you can!

Miles

Hellooo hurry up 😐

That was enough plotting for now. You put your phone back in your pocket, grabbed your bag and ran down the stairs to see Miles impatiently waiting.

"Come on! Sam's waiting on us in the dojo before everyone comes in." Miles said eagerly, opening the front door to run towards the car.

"Oh shut up, we all know why you're going here early," you teased, trialing behind.

Miles turned behind you in confusion, stopping his tracks. "No?"

"Yes?!" You argued. "You want to get closer to her, ask her out, do all the other lovey dovey stuff. Just ask her out. It's not that hard." You brought up, being an absolute hypocrite.

"I can't ask her out, what if she likes Miguel?" He questioned, now that the both of you were in the car. "I fear I can see that vision..."

"There's prom in a few months." You mentioned. "Go form a bond with her now, so then you can ask her out, match the fits, do the whole prom experience you've been thinking of."

You did want to go to prom, and you assumed Robby would've asked you to go as "friends" secretly still having a crush on you if he was here.

"What if she says no?" Miles asked.

"That probably means no, unless she's just nervous, then I would just try again and again and again," you said, then shook your head. "No, you'll look desperate. Just don't even think about the word no in your head, I don't see why she would say no."
