Everyone from Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang stood by together in the Miyagi dojo. You stood by Miguel, Sam stood with Miles, Hawk and Demetri were paired up; everyone who was rivaling were now starting to make amends. It was the first day of practice officially together, and you wanted to focus on improving—like you always did when coming into the dojo.

"Ready?" Daniel spoke, calmly.

"Let's begin!" Johnny shouted.

You and Miguel glanced at each other with how silent the yard was after Johnny's shout. Everyone had awkward silence before Demetri raised his hand.

"Uh, begin what exactly?" He asked as the two Senseis looked at each other trying to make up a plan.

"Begin a new era. Many of us used to be enemies. But rivalries don't need to last forever. The All Valley Tournament is just a few months away, and this year, the stakes are higher than they've ever been. We know that Cobra Kai is gonna use every dirty trick in the book. There's only one way we're gonna be able to beat them by—"

"Kicking their asses so hard they shit themselves!" Johnny interrupted Daniel's speech. "We gotta take things to the next level. Gonna teach you an aggression stronger than anything Cobra Kai can throw at us. They strike first? We'll pre-strike!"

"I don't think that's gonna work." You whisper to Miguel.

"He has good morals, but horrible ways to present them." Miguel defended Johnny as Daniel continued to speak.

"Eagles do not respond! They swoop down and take whatever they want. That's what we're gonna do. Take back the Valley." Johnny interrupted cut off Daniel again.

"Take it back in a measured and organized approach." Daniel tried to say.

"We bite first!" Johnny yelled.

"Kinky." You and Miguel both mutter, and then glanced at each other.

"Okay, let's just warm up with some simple exercises." Daniel instructed.

"All right, line up!" Johnny ordered to his eagles.

Miyagi-Do was at front, Eagle Fang behind in two big rows. Daniel was instructing his students with kata and the breathing exercises, but Johnny had them front kicked to the ground from the back.

No one was warmed up, the Senseis decided to make people from the same dojo spar. A much more calmer demonstration from both sides.

Johnny paired up Bert and Mitch to spar, and it looked very sloppy with their strike first motto. "Hey, hey!" Daniel separated the two. "You're just swinging at each other! Don't you teach any defense?" He looked at Johnny incredulously.

"Best defense is more offense." Mitch quoted. While distracted, Bert used it as an opportunity to kick Mitch into the rock by his back. Everyone gasped and backed up.
