One morning, as Y/n was walking to the Great Hall for breakfast, she noticed a group of girls giggling and whispering, their eyes fixed on someone ahead. Following their gaze, she saw Mattheo surrounded by a few admirers. They were laughing at something he said, their faces alight with admiration.

She couldn't help the pang of irritation that flared in her chest. Just as she was about to turn away, Mattheo caught her eye and gave her a quick smile.

Inside the Great Hall, Pansy was already at their usual spot, waving her over.

"Morning! Did you see the fan club Mattheo's accumulated?" she asked, smirking.

Y/n rolled her eyes as she took her seat.

"Yeah, I saw. They're just... annoying."

Pansy chuckled.

"Jealous much?"

"Not jealous," Y/n said defensively, though the heat rising to her cheeks suggested otherwise. "Just... irritated."

Before Pansy could respond, the guys joined them, their own conversations blending into the morning's lively atmosphere. Draco, Blaise, Enzo, and Theo took their seats, exchanging casual banter.

"Ladies," Theo greeted, grabbing a piece of toast.

"Theo," Pansy and Y/n replied in unison.

"So, Mattheo, what was that about outside?" Enzo asked, raising an eyebrow. "Looked like you were quite the popular guy."

Mattheo shrugged, casting a quick glance at Y/n.

"Just some girls asking about homework. No big deal."

Y/n snorted softly, unable to hide her annoyance.

"Sure, homework."

Mattheo caught the tone in her voice and smirked.

"What's the matter, love? You sound a bit... irritated."

"I'm not," she snapped, focusing on her breakfast.

The tension between them was palpable, and Draco, always one to notice such things, smirked.

"Trouble in paradise?"

"Shut up, Draco," Y/n muttered, causing the table to erupt in laughter.

The rest of the breakfast was spent in a mix of teasing and casual conversation, but the undercurrent of tension between Y/n and Mattheo remained. As they left the Great Hall, Mattheo fell into step beside her.

"Hey, what's going on with you?" he asked, keeping his voice low.

"Nothing," she replied curtly, quickening her pace.

"Come on, talk to me," Mattheo insisted, grabbing her arm gently to slow her down.

She stopped and turned to face him, her eyes flashing with frustration.

"It's just... those girls. They're all over you, and it's annoying."

Mattheo's expression softened, and he stepped closer.

"You know they don't mean anything to me, right? It's you I'm interested in."

She sighed, her anger fading slightly.

"I know, it's just hard to see them fawning over you."

He smiled and brushed a strand of hair from her face.
