Max Caulfield was terrified. Why was she? Because she had to tell her best friend, Chloe Price, that she was moving to Seattle in just three days. Max's father had a new job opportunity there, and she wasn't looking forward to it.

Flynn Price, Chloe's younger brother, already knew, though Max told him that she wanted to be the one to tell Chloe.

It was two thousand eight, and Chloe and Max were in the backyard playing pirates as Chloe had pulled out her tape player along with her old pirate map the two created when they were younger.

Max had just gone outside from being in the attic to fetch the amulet for their secret burial treasure.

Flynn had been in his room the whole time while looking out his window and watching Chloe pretending to fight a fellow enemy. Flynn loved her free spirited behavior. It was childish, but it was how she was.

Flynn watches as the two girls talk and head to the swing set. He opened his bedroom window and heard their conversation.

"Wait, how am I supposed to use this?" He heard Max.

"The drawings on the lens," Chloe said from a distance, "It should line up with something."

Flynn chuckled and quickly ran downstairs, wanting to join his sister and Max. He opened the sliding door and watched as Max confuses Chloe as she just figured out whatever it was she was doing.

"Okay, take a step right." Max said.

Chloe then goes to her right, but Max stops her, "No, no! The other right!"

"My other right or your other right?" Chloe yells to Max.

Flynn laughs, making Chloe glare at him, "Shut it shorty!" She yelled, crossing her arms as if she was angry at him.

"I'll be taller than you soon enough, Chloe!" Flynn yelled.

Max sighs at their bickering and calls for Chloe's attention, "Chloe!"

"Yeah?"

"My other right!"

Chloe nods, "Got it." She said but then got confused again, "Wait, what?" She yelled, making Max sigh again and point to the spot where she wanted Chloe to go for the buried treasure.

"Perfect, now come towards me!"

Chloe does so till Max stops her, and after that, both girls and Flynn (Chloe invited him to join them) dug the buried box out of the ground, confused, even Flynn was confused and questioned them, "Was that not what you put in the ground?"

"No..." Max said, looking at the siblings.

"Let's go look!" Flynn said.

The three went inside with the barrel looking box, and went to the table. Chloe sat it on to one of the chairs, looking at it for a small minute before looking at Max.

"What is it?" Max asked.

"I don't know... Let's open it!" Chloe said with excitement in her voice, which Flynn internally laughed at.

The two girls opened the box, and in there, they found what they had originally buried, which was Flynn's old elementary lunch box he thought he lost until this moment. But instead of saying anything about it, he kept to himself and let the girls have their moment.

He left to the fridge and got out a 7 up soda and went to the couch, and pulled out his phone. He flinched when Chloe had run up the stairs. He turned to Max for an explanation.

Max shrugged, "We found a tape, so I'm guessing she went to get her tape player?"

"Damn right, I did," Chloe yelled as she came back, looking at Flynn with a smirk, "Why don't you come here and listen?"
