TW: character death

The night was spent with the three girls watching Blade Runner. For Lucy, it was a hundred times seeing it, but she never complained. It was Chloe's favorite movie.

Lucy actually stayed up with Chloe until the movie ended as Max passed out halfway through it. The couple tried to be quiet as they talked while the credits rolled.

Chloe rambled on about Max, though Lucy didn't mind. She still had no idea about Max as she had just met the girl just hours ago. Chloe had mentioned her through the years along with Flynn but only vague details.

When the sun was coming up, the light showed through the window, Chloe shut her eyes, wincing from how bright the sun was. Lucy thought it was adorable of Chloe when she did that whenever she stayed the night, whenever she would wake up first or not.

Anything Chloe did was adorable and just cute.

"Well, should we just start the morning routine?" Lucy quietly asked as she got up from the chair.

"Well, you're already up, so why not." Chloe mumbled, "Not like I have a choice, right?"

Lucy chuckled as she did the regular routine with Chloe's medicine, massaging Chloe's limbs and asked if she needed the bathroom and whatnot, "I'm good for now, Lucy, why don't you go see if Flynn is up."

"Will do. I'll be back in a bit, I'm gonna stuff my face with breakfast."

"Have fun." Chloe chuckled, watching Lucy leave the room, leaving Chloe with Max.

Once Lucy was out of the room, Chloe stared at the TV, which was now turned off by Lucy while she gave Chloe her medicine and massage for her blood circulation.

Two minutes passed, and Max was now starting to wake up, Chloe looked as Max stirs awake, wiping the sleep off her face and looking towards the TV before looking towards Chloe.

"I cannot believe you fell asleep so fast, how dare you." Max said playfully with a smile.

"I know you were beat down after the day with me, and Blade Runner is a pretty dreamy movie to watch at night." Chloe said, "Uh, do you think Deckard is a replicent?"

Max looks at her with sleepy eyes, still in the process of waking up, and Chloe smiles, "Sorry, I can see you're not wide awake like me."

"No, I'm sorry, I crashed so hard. Were you okay?" Max asked with worry, which Chloe thought was unnecessary, but she knew Max meant well.

"I do have a mother and a father, as well as a brother and my girlfriend when you're not falling asleep on me." Chloe said with a snark.

"You are a bitch in the morning." Max said sitting straight in the chair.

"It's the company I keep." Chloe said back with a smirk.

Max was then startled when Lucy walked in, "Hey, sorry to barg in - actually, I'm not." She said, sitting next to Chloe and snuggling next to her.

Chloe smiled, "Yesterday was such a blast." She said, mostly to Max.

"It was great, seeing you." Max smiled.

Lucy left them to their own conversation as she had her phone, messaging Flynn while he was still upstairs in his room, he had told Lucy to tell Chloe that he'd be down in an hour or so but Lucy decided to do that after their conversation. It seemed rude to ruin their little moment.

"I know things were different when we were just dorky kids, but being with you made me feel like when we were little pirates, jumping and running through the forest again." Chloe said in her now shaky voice, "It meant a lot to me just to chill out with you and bullshit."
