Lucy walked in the from campus of Blackwell, looking around, watching as other students did their own thing as she went to her favorite spot, under a tree. She didn't see much of Flynn as he had a different friend group that would move to a different spot every now and then.

Lucy didn't bother with friends since Chloe's accident. She was the only person she would hang with. After that day, she'd spend her day alone. Besides some days, she would play tabletop games with Steph and Mikey.

A week went by, and she would try to see Chloe the best she could again. After her rage, she apologized repeatedly no matter how much Chloe said it was alright and justified. To Lucy, it wasn't justified. It was an unnecessary thing that Lucy did.

But Lucy couldn't change how Chloe thought of most things.

It still breaks Lucy that Chloe actually thought what she said. She didn't want Chloe thinking like that, and Lucy wanted to make sure of it.

When school ended for the day, she went to find Flynn, who was at the staircase, his friends going their separate ways.

"Flynn! Hey, wait up!"

He turned around and gave her a nod, "What's up?"

"Can you tell Chloe that I'll be stopping by later on? I have an hour shift. Johnny had a family emergency but will still be working tonight. I have to work his shift." Lucy explained with a nervous smile.

Flynn chuckled, "Yeah, sure thing, Lucy. But you better or Chloe will get her rage on." He winked playfully.

"Oh, ha ha." She said, walking in the direction of the music shop, "Don't worry, I'll be dropping by."

Flynn watches as Lucy goes on her way as he heads on home, mentally exhausted. Flynn walked towards his neighborhood, and he heard the bus stop he didn't bother looking as he assumed that a person lived in the neighborhood as well, so he kept walking.

Though he wasn't expecting to be almost knocked down by a girl in a purple sweater, "Hey! Watch it next time!" Flynn shouted, irritated.

He heard a distant apology. The girl was running towards his house. It wasn't far from the bus stop. He found it weird that a girl who wasn't Lucy ran to his house.

Flynn felt uneasy. Yeah, she didn't look threatening, but she definitely wasn't a friend of either him or Chloe, and definitely not Lucy as she was most of the time alone during the day.

Flynn sprinted towards his house as he then lost sight of the girl, which in his mind didn't matter he knew where she was heading anyway. In just a span of two quick minutes of running, he made it home. The front door was closed, and everything looked fine.

For now.

But there was no sign of the girl. She looked like she was in a rush, but Flynn was home now, so he could hang with Chloe till Lucy arrived.

Flynn let out a tired sigh and made his way in, William at the table once again, looking at bills. Flynn walks up to him as he sets his bag on the couch.

"Hey dad, how long have you been sitting here?" He asked, resting his hand on William's shoulder.

"Twenty minutes, son, the bills are stacking up quick, and work is getting more tiring." William sighs.

Flynn pats his father's shoulder comfortingly as he heads to Chloe's room, "We'll be alright, I'm doing my best to help out -"

"You shouldn't have to. Besides helping out with Chloe with Lucy again, you should be enjoying your time being a teenager, but helping with money."
