Lucy walked off campus, classes had ended, and she was on her way to the Price household. Lucy had a lot of events that happened that she couldn't wait to tell Chloe. Mostly for gossip reasons involving Victoria Chase.

On her way, she saw Flynn getting off his motorcycle at Two Whales. Though she didn't want to waste any time, she decided to talk to Flynn first.

"Hey Flynn, what are you doing here?" Lucy asked as she stood next to the boy.

"I'm here to get Chloe some food. She just got back from the hospital."

"Oh yeah, her appointment, heh? How did it go?" Lucy asked.

"Oh, I uh, maybe Chloe should tell you, I wasn't there." Flynn said, picking at his nail.

Lucy knew he was lying, but she didn't have the energy to pry or even bother, Chloe was her main concern right now, and she was probably thinking that she ditched her right now.

Lucy sighs and nods, "Make sure you don't mess her order, yeah?"

Flynn nodded with a smile as he headed in the diner, Lucy walked off to the direction of the neighborhood as fast as she could. Lucy messaged William just in case Chloe asked for her.

Since the accident, Chloe was more worried and insecure, Lucy obviously wouldn't blame her. She was in a serious accident that could have fucking killed her last year. It was just a few days after the twins' birthday, Chloe was coming back from Lucy's, she had allowed her to cut Chloe's hair.

If Lucy had known that Chloe was to get into that stupid accident, she wouldn't have allowed Chloe to leave her apartment.

Lucy snapped back into reality as she had arrived at Chloe's house so quickly, though she was stuck in her head the whole walk there. Lucy made her way to the front door and walked in. She was told multiple times that she didn't have to knock, so when she was told the fourth time, she took that into consideration.

"Ah, Lucy, how are you?" William asked as he was once again, looking at bills.

Lucy honestly hated this. She hated everything that had happened with this family. Joyce had to work double, William was trying his best, and Flynn was working with Frank. And then there's Chloe.

Suffering.

Twenty-four seven.

"Alright, I had a shitty day of Victoria Chase, but you know how school is." Lucy said, trying to light the mood.

William chuckled, "Yeah, definitely," he then pointed to the door that used to be the garage, "You know where Chloe is, she's very excited to see you."

Lucy smiled, the thought of Chloe always being excited to see - not just her - but anyone was just adorable to her. Chloe was still a child on the inside.

She made her way to Chloe's knew high-tech room and shut the door behind her. As much as it pained Lucy to see Chloe stuck in bed with a tube to her neck, she always hid it well and put a forced but sincere smile on her face.

"Hey, Chloe Bowie."

Chloe scoffed, "I wish you would stop calling me that. It's worse than Flynn's nicknames." She chuckled.

"Oh please, you secretly love me calling you that." Lucy said, sitting down on a chair that was next to Chloe's bed.

"You know you can sit on the bed with me." Chloe softly offered.

Lucy smiled, "I would love to, but -" she cut herself off, getting up and sitting on the bed, making Chloe smile.

Seeing that smile was always Lucy's reward, Chloe always smiled and was always appreciative over the smallest of things as much as she would get excited over small things as well. Something she did that Lucy would never get tired of seeing.
