2: Dragon seal.
Kiana awoke the next day, refreshed better than she was since she awoke by the cave. Though the feeling of emptiness loomed above her like the cloud itself.
She left the tavern after paying for the night and having her breakfast, then she headed out in search of a clothing shop and perhaps a place her questions will be answered.
Kiana arrived at the only open shop in the whole kingdom, she walked over to the owner, " excuse me, i need some clothings,"
The man smiled bright, " this way miss, we have the best clothings in the kingdom.
" Okay then, give me any,"
The man nodded and headed in the shop to which Kiana followed, he brought out a purple empire gown, in front of it was drawn a huge Lilac rose, Kiana had not expected such a dress.
A smile graced her lips for the first time as she traced the intricate pattern of the rose on the dress.
" Do you have more of this dress in different colors?"
" Yes, we do,"
" Let me see them,"
The man hurried and brought a handful of clothes all in the same pattern in different colors.
Kiana smiled all through as she walked in the changing room and put on the dress, it fitted her like a second skin, yet the feeling that she had never worn a dress made he uncomfortable.
When the shop owner had seen her, he had been so shocked that he went speachless, how could a woman be so beautiful?
" How does it look?" She asked.
The man held her hand and let her to a mirror gently, age assessed herself in the mirror, the dress was beautiful no doubt and it fitted her perfectly, her red marking showed as her collerbone was uncovered.
She let down her packed hair, allowing it to cascade down her neck and cover the showing skin.
" Ah, the dress has a shawl," the man informed, then he went in the shop, retrieved the shawl and handed it to her.
The shawl covered her neck, it was long enough to reach the length of the dress which was her full height.
The shawl covered her shoulder down to her wrist, the smile never left her face as she bought the three more of the dresses.
" Can I ask you a favor sir?" Kiana asked as she was about to exit the shop.
" Yes, go ahead," The man replied.
" Do you know a place called Rinace,"
" Rinace?" The man frowned, " there is no such place, I have been all around the six kingdoms and I have never heard of a Rinace," The man replied.
" Oh," Disappointment crossed her feature, " thank you,"
" My pleasure,"
Kiana left the shop back to the Tavern, on her way, she had asked people if they knew of a Rinace yet no one did, after settling in, she went for a walk once again, sitting without work didn't sit right to her.
As she walked through tbe the quiet street, her thoughts returned to the masked man she had bumped into the other night, what could he have done to have had people chasing after him?
By the time she realized how far from the tavern she had gone, she had reached the far end of the city, unbothered, she walked farther, however, the dragon pendant she held in her hand all along fell to the floor and she crouched down to pick it.
A hand yanked it from the floor the same time, she glanced up with a frown only to frown deeper at the man standing before her.
" Give it back," She demanded, glancing at the man in a hood who examined the pendant with a frown.
" Why do you have this?" The man asked, to which Kiana stepped forward.
" I have heard that voice somewhere, who are you?"
" The owner of this belonging which you have stolen," He replied nonchalantly.
" Stolen? No that's mine,"
" How is my dragon seal yours?"
" Dragon seal? I found it when I woke up, it was the only thing with me," Hope bursted in Kiana, she held the man's shoulder and leaned closer to his face.
" Do you know me? I woke up by a cave with this Pendant-"
"My Dragon seal?"
" Dragon seal, whatever it is called, I have no memory of who I am an I thought this might give me a clue, since the pendant, no Dragon seal is yours then you must know me for me to have It," Kiana explained.
The man leaned closer to her, their faces inches apart, Kiana needed not be told before she knows that a man proximity with a woman should never be so close.
Her breath itched the moment she noticed his striking blue eyes which watched her in amusement, just like the masked man, the man had a familiar scent and feeling which made Kiana certain she knew or had met the man before she lost her memories.
" You have committed two offenses, first, you stole my Dragon seal now, you are touching me inappropriately, don't you know who I am? "
Kiana shook her head to which the blue eyed man jerked his head back in laughter, he leaned away from her and folded his arms behind his back.
"I have lost my memory so I might have no idea who you are, perhaps you know who I am then?"
" If you want to know who i am, meet me here on the night of the full moon," he stated.
" You will be here when I come right?" Kiana asked in a small voice, barely ble to breathe.
" I will," He drawled.
" Then perhaps you might have a clue of who I am,"
" Perhaps, your questions will be answered when we meet again,"
" It's a deal then,"
" A deal?" He chuckled, " alright, it is a deal then," He promised, studied her features and walked away.
Why did he keep encountering her? She was the same woman he met the night before while he was chased by the Wolfrim.
Then he met her again and she had his Dragon seal, the main reason he stayed at Volta.
Who was she? Why did she have his Dragon seal and why did he keep encountering her?
Haven realized he was worrying to much which was unlike him, the man shook his head and cleared the thoughts.
All will be revealed when next they meet.
Kiana's gaze never left his figure till it disappeared, both he and his White hood, who could the man be? And why did she have his Dragon seal?
Exhausted, Kiana returned to the tavern, better to rest and return, she had all the time in the world after all.
